Whee, Walker. Not my first pick of those left, but close enough.

Bill Walker?!?!?!
I dunno what to say
he has potential but needs to stay healthy.
I liked him at K-State but I dunno where he'd fit on this team right now.

Walker. He's a lottery talent with physical problems. Steal if he can get healthy. Won't forget not drafting Hendrix though.

Re: Official Wizards Draft Thread: Version 2.0
That one I like. Walker was the best player on his team this year on many nights, on a team with Beasley. Sorry about Hendrix CCJ but if his knee is okay this was a true steal.

Walker's probably screaming right now. He has bad knees and we take him. FIGURES.

Re: Official Wizards Draft Thread: Version 2.0
We need a 3rd PG in free agency - unless we are gonna re-sign RMJ and make him the emergency combo G.

I'm glad someone else finally acknowledged this.

Re: Official Wizards Draft Thread: Version 2.0
Bill Walker is a good pick. i'm a bit dissapointed EG passed on Richard Hendrix but Walker is a potential steal at #47.
If it wasn't for his knee injury, Walker would be a 1st rounder. He's got late lottery to mid-first round talent.
My main concern with Walker is introducing his bulky knee to the Wizards medical staff. I could an amputation happenning somewhere down the line...
Walker, if he can get healthy and remain so, will likely be a better pick than McGee.

Re: Official Wizards Draft Thread: Version 2.0
Walker's had a couple ACL problems, already.
He can play but he's just the guy to get for a team full of 50 or 60 game players.
At least he can dunk real well and I think can play well if healthy. I'd say he's not a bad pick ot 47.
That said, I think EG and EJ will both be out of jobs within 2-3 years.

Dave Johnson reported on the Wizards blog that doctors and lawyers were in the room before the pick was announced. Hilarious.

Chris Lofton if undrafted. Okay he's a gunner, not even really a combo guard. But mman he can hit soem crazy creative shots in traffic and from waay downtown.
