I really like our draft. Walker can be our backup 3 man this year if he's healthy. If he's not, oh well, he was the 47th pick. Great choice.

I laughed at that too.

I;m stunned that Hendrix has not gotten picked yet. Perhaps NBA teams know something we don't?

Exactly...if healthy, he has surely talked the talk about his game being NBA-Ready and not suited for college but for the Pros!! If so, he moves ahead of McGuire. I like this pick. OKI, for those who have seen me HATE on the McGee pick....if healthy, WALKER will be a better PRO. I said it. It is written, so it shall be done. :D

If it wasn't for his knee injury, Walker would be a 1st rounder. He's got late lottery to mid-first round talent.

My main concern with Walker is introducing his bulky knee to the Wizards medical staff. I could an amputation happenning somewhere down the line...

Walker, if he can get healthy and remain so, will likely be a better pick than McGee.

OMG - that's not funny, dat.

I dunno what to say

he has potential but needs to stay healthy.

I liked him at K-State but I dunno where he'd fit on this team right now.

Where does Javale McGee fit on our team right now

It's true Pine. The Medical Staff probably thinks Walker has the healthiest legs on the team.

We drafted him so that Gilbert would have someone to talk knee troubles with.

Sadly, I have to agree with you.

That's the tragic part.

WTF - Portland playing the draft like a Monopoly-like board game.

"Hey Gil, how did your rehab go?"

"I came back to early twice."

"Why'd you do that?"

"The Team doctors said I could...you should be straight."

Chris Lofton if undrafted. Okay he's a gunner, not even really a combo guard. But mman he can hit soem crazy creative shots in traffic and from waay downtown.

So, sounds like you're trying to pick up ANTWAN JAMISON.

I know many of you are upset with the selection of McGee but if you sit back and think about it...we do have a pretty good core of talented young players. I'm counting Walker as part of that group because I'm fairly confident that he will make the team and be a good player.

Why is EVERYONe sleeping on the return of Etan? I know he's not a special player but he is a pretty decent backup and can add muscle, a few blocks, and a couple post moves in between turnovers.
