another forward....hopefully we have something in the works for a proven guard cause this surplus of useless forwards is just getting ridiculous

I really like this pick. He's got an NBA body right now. He's a finisher. He's a defensive athlete who plays with a ton of passion. He's lost some baby fat. He could be a 5th guard/defender.

I just want to say that I hate your team for picking Walker one pick ahead of PHX :(.

You guys got a steal.

Actually a good pick in the 2nd rnd. Smart player....we need more like these. ACL injury did him in. He can be like a Jerry Stackhouse if given time, IMO.

I love this pick. Sorry CCJ but Walker is going to be great behind Butler. A guy who works his ass off, plays D, and definitely has potential.

I think DMac just got some incentive to raise his game.

Back-up 3 was a position of need for us, I'll give EG that.

Seems to have arms that go on forever. When Walker is healthy he's got above average explosion off the floor. If he was healthy without the knee problems I don't see him not being a lottery pick. He's definitely skilled enough to play in the NBA. I like the fact he works with Tim Grover who has a reputation of getting players in shape. Walker definitely needs it because he gained to much weight after tearing his Knee ligament. On the Wizards he's lucky in the fact that he can just work on this body, conditioning and improving his knee. Really will push DMAC and others for PT sometime around mid season if everything is going well with him physically.

Hardly knew ya, Bill.

Edit to Add: Walker for cash might just mean Gil got a little more than we anticipated.

That cheap Bastard Abe Pollin!!!! Don't blame EG or even EJ on this one. Abe Pollin is a disease to the Wizards. Dan Snyder gets every hate jab thrown his way. At least spends money! At least he won't allow his friends to be the medical staff! Abe Pollin is the worst owner in the nba. I'd rather have Clay Bennett or Michael Hesiley.
