Wow Portland is just so active and getting Darrel Arthur for Cash. Why can't Riley get deals like this done more often.

Hardin went two spots before us.

That was in the 1st round. It seemed like we gave up a lot but I am happy with it b/c our depth going into camp was looking scary.

Chalmers is a fantastic fit next to Wade. His catch and shoot abilities are unmatched in this draft class. I can see him making a big contribution next year.

Um, why did we take Jackson then?

He's ANOTHER power forward.

If your going to take a PF at least take Gist.

If this guy Chalmers is a good defensive player. I will be happy. I just hope we don't trade Banks. I rather have two guys that can play D, than one.

Jackson will compete for a roster spot with Stephane Lasme.

Jackson is not that bad for a 52nd pick, probably because hes a "winner"

Great draft though, really happy.

Spin move by Darnell Jackson, guy weights 250, seems like his agile, hopefully he sheds some pounds, but he looks from that move, like a Big Baby type of player. Just pure guess, never seen the guy play.

I direct your attention again (see other thread about Chalmers for details) to Hollingers projected PER system where Darnell Jackson scored as a 1st rounder ... as Hollinger says "a potential 2nd-round steal."

Though no system is full-proof obviously, this takes into account EVERYTHING including age, measurables, production, and success indicators and projects production in the NBA.
