As far as the pick...unlikely we get a # 11, but if it does, that would be great...hey, I thought Marcus would of turned out better or differently...but I'm more excited about not watching his growing pains in our system...I hope he succeeds elsewhere...and I wouldnt be surprised if he did in GS...the kid can pass and has some good vision...at this point w. Harris, he's really not needed...
This is where I'm really a bit worried most from this trade (along with several of our other moves). Keyon will be playing more at the 1 with an average playmaking ability and court vision. CDR will be behind Hayes at the 2 (along with Dooling) when I don't even believe CDR should be playing there. I feel he doesn't have the ball handling nor the range to consistently play there. With the addition of Najera, I feel playing at the 2 will be CDR's only option with our many assortments of 3s and slowing his progress as a bright young talent.
If Frank feels we're thin at the 1, which I'm willing to bet he will this season, we're going to be letting VC run the offense. Yes, VC is an above average playmaker for a 2, but I think he's much better as the first scoring option rather than looking for other scoring options first.
