Major trade offer

Post#1 » by CrookedJ » Wed Oct 1, 2008 8:36 pm

So . .. The same dude that I got Philip Rivers from is desperate to get TO from me. After ignoring three offers (hahahahahah) he has made a sweet one.

He wants TO, Chris Chambers, Jonathan Stewart and Robert Royal

He offers: Reggie Bush Jason Witten, Randy Moss and Dwayne Bowe

My team is
Qb
Rivers
Jason Campbell

RB
Westbrook
Ernest Graham
Jonathan Stewart
Jerius Norwood

WR
TO
Chris Chambers
Bobby Engram
Amani Toomer

TE
Robert Royal ( dropped the injured Shockey)

Would ya do it?

The way I see it I do lose TO as a stud at WR, but get 2 absolute studs in Bush and Witten. Chambers is prolly at peak value, but I would be splitting up the rivers/chambers combo. I would also be giving him the Romo/ TO combo. I see Bowe and Moss being fairly even at this point. So I think it works out pretty well for me. Do you think that Deuce will eat into Reggie Bush' s numbers?

the saints have figured out how to use reggie, so he will get his numbers, not any goal-line carries or anything, but they'll get him the ball
witten is a huge upgrade over royal, and bowe is pretty good

the way i see it you get the better end of the deal with 3 out of the 4 players, with TO over Moss being the exception, TO had the talk with Romo this week so look for him to get more touches, and i'm not to excited about Moss' chances to turn it around
and your other wr's don't exactly light the place up

this is probably the best deal you are going to get for TO, and its a good one, and you are probably going to have the eat Moss no matter what, so i say go for it, hope Moss turns it around if not you have 2 other studs, and another quality player to fall back on

Thanks dude. Im taking it.

I think Moss can have a good run here off the bye
next 4 matchups: 49ers, Chargers, Broncos, Rams - plus hes had his bye and TO hasn't

Don't forget about Dwyane Bowe. Guy's one of my favorite fantasy players. Not flashy, but always seems to get 85 yards and a TD every week.
