This is on Torre and the awful starting pitching. I cannot blame the bullpen for this because they've been abused beyond hell. This is all on Torre, the starting pitching, and Cashman.

Exactly... Torre deserves some of the blame but Cashman has once again built a **** team that is going to need to be bailed out once again by a midseason trade or signing.
Bruney is just fine... he's just damn overworked. Same thing with Vizciano.

Ted lilly was begging to come back to NY I think, instead of giving him 30+ mil, we spend that much on igawa... lilly should be 3-0 the cubs don't score runs for him.. with the yanks lilly would be an easy 3-0..
Cut ties with pavano.. we should have shipped his ass to st louis, they were interested, we could have gotten a prospect out of them, hell I would have taken kip wells...

if you overwork them for 3 straight days and they're tired out in April , how are they going to make it to September ?
