I'm completely lost on the nickname front with this kid. Anybody know what his teamates call him?

I think the nicknames rules dictate that he must go by JMcG (Jay MicGee). Kinda like TMac or CWebb. This doesnt always work so well, I am sure Caron does not like to be called CButt and AJam does not fit well either. I don't thank Jamison can jam. Some are funnier than others: I always liked S One and J One for Shaq and Jermaine. CAnt is great for Carmello as in he can't play defense.

The possibilies are endless: poor Al Hoford becomes A Hor and Dirk is D Now - which doesn't fit well either.

For some reason "Lemonhead" cracks me up. Maybe it's just the fact that CB threw it into the interview.

I like Stretch and Jammin Java, too. (I take guitar lessons at Jammin Java).

I was trying to play off the "Java" moniker but couldn't come up with anything remotely worthwhile (Mocha Slim was the best I could do which is a somewhat cool street name but has nothing to do with b-ball).

I gotta go with Caron. "Lemonhead" is great nickname, and a spot-on visual.

Besides, I'm always partial to a goofy nickname over a overly cool, laudatory nickname (e.g., "The Assassin," "The Dominator," "Smoove J," etc.). A goofy nickname has a greater potential to actually stick.

What's it gonna be??
