Man... that's such a bummer. Did a double take when I saw the headline.

You guys have definitely had some unlucky breaks in the past couple of seasons with injuries, and it's sad to see the chain repeat itself yet again. This has definitely been the year of injuries in the NBA thus far. :banghead: Hopefully someone else can step up in Brewer's place and more importantly, hopefully he can come back ready to contribute next season.

thanks for your kind words but IIRC the beginning of last season wasn't that much better either. there was Oden, Arenas, Brand, Wade, Foye, Morrison (the latter two are certainly not the same talent level but had to suffer long term injuries as well) and I think I forgot someone. I have no idea what's going on in the last few years. but it really really sucks to see that happen.

Yea the NBA has turned into glass. Maybe we need to get back to letting palyers play and beat up on each other so they don't jump around as much and break things.

it's those damn shoes, too much ankle support + taping. The ankles can't move and all the force is absorbed into the next joint - the knee. That's my theory. If you make a hard move and your ankles can't move, then the force has to be released somewhere. Sacrificing peoples ACL's so they don't twist an ankle. That's still my theory.

^That's a good theory. I bet there is a strong negative correlation between ankle sprains and knee injuries. Evryone should go back to Converse Allstars.
