Why don't you guys vote for Yi since he will receive a lot more votes from China and will accomplish the same thing...it'll be a lot easier

Here's the BBCode - replace the round brackets with squared ones, obviously:

cool, I was typing to get the the code.

Haha, I've told a few people to do this already. But we're also just trolling the votes in general, I think I voted for Monta Ellis as well.

It's horrible. I went on a Chinese board and tried my best to write about voting for Marbury but my thread gets locked.

It's probably been addressed, but what if the knicks cut him and he was voted into the all-star game? Who would he represent? Is there any precedent for a teamless all-star?

i think its pointless to vote in yi, cause he's gonna get in sooner or later.

what id LOVE to see though is the knicks go on a tear, get the #1 record in the east by the break, D'Antoni gets the head coach, marbury starting PG... oh if i lived in a perfect world

Deserving? Every year somebody gets voted to the all star team and bumps off a more deserving player. Sometimes the guy voted in doesn't deserve to be on the team at all and is getting by on reputation. This is a controversial subject on these boards every year.

By pushing Starbury, the NBA may take notice and reconsider how it puts together the all star team and what role fan voting will have. So in the long run, more deserving players will be on the team.

The whole Stephon Marbury controversy really makes me want to get Stephon Marbury into the All-Star Game. If anyone is up for it we can send out mass messages to people who are fans on the NBA page on Facebook. There is about 300k and we need about 1.5 million votes. A lot of them probably won't pay attention but whatever.
