2 Expirings and a pick for Felton is a whole lot to give up. If its Shrinks deal, im more inclined to do it. Felton is so hot/cold that it makes me sick. I think he is a good player, and like deeney says if we can get value for Shad then im all for it. I just dont want to make Foye the full time SG.

If we did this trade and Brew wasnt hurt i would be a little happier, but a Felton/Foye/Miller guard rotation worries me defensively. We dont have any one in the front or back court to make up for that lack of defense.

I've been waiting for this day ever since we drafted Shad. And now it's finally here!

Yeah a guy like Delonte West would be perfect off the bench. I think McCants for West was brought up awhile ago. I liked the idea then and I like it even more now.

Yea im a big fan of D.West but i dont see the Cavs touching a straight swap of West-McCants. Maybe apart of a larger deal like Miller + Cardinal + McCants for Snow + Pavs (unguaranteed in 09) + West

or something along those lines. I dont necessarily like using Miller for a Cardinal dump but i wouldnt rule it out. I dont that Cle would trade Wally, thats why i did the smaller expiring Snow and Pavs.

I didn't mean a straight up swap. I just couldn't remember who else was in the deal. Since when does West have so much more value than Felton?

Felton is sporadic. One night he looks like a franchise PG, the next...not so much. That really could be said for Sean May and McCants too, which is kinda odd.

West is a very good hustle player, he can play both the 1/2 (Felton is 6'1, def not a SG), defends the PG position well, doesnt do horrible guarding SG's. Can shoot the 3 effectively and can set up teammates pretty well.

I dont think anyone is saying West is much more valuable than Felton, however, West is more valuable to the Cavs than Felton is to the Cats, as it seems Larry Brown is behind Augustin for the PG position.

I guess Felton and Larry Brown just doesn't see eye to eye, which is understandable since Augistin was Larry's protege from the get go and MJ simply doesn't care.
Felton will not set the world on fire, his shot is suspect to say the least, his distributing skills are average due to playing at SG early in his career and he has not shown much improvement as a player since his rookie year, but he can get to the rack at will, is a solid albeit undersized defender and is a character guy. All in all, it's a good deal for Wolves and a Felton-Foye backcourt is intriguing, both are mostly scorers, just different types (foye likes to shoot and felton likes to drive), both are not a classic "make everybody better" PGs, but can pass pretty well and share ballhandling duties.

Do not get a sub-par guy. Combine assets and picks and get a guy that can legitimately help. Try for Monta, try for Conley, try something legit..

McCants isn't an asset. That boat has sailed. And Conley might be no better than Felton. Monta? Seriously?

If GSW does not want Monta (rumor is he is not a nelson guy) throw some cap relief and a couple of our picks their way. Why not?

I would love that

a core of Monta and Big Al would be really nice, the only thing i don't know is if Monta is any good in half court offense

JMO...the PG is a dying bred. We need a playmaker. Monta adds that. A backcourt of Monta/Foye is athletic and scary.

Also, Monta and Al know each other from high school.
