Simeon Rice released...

Post#1 » by studcrackers » Thu Jul 26, 2007 11:15 pm

I just saw this as I woke up from my map, he was hurt last year but id be willing to bet he still has some play left.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday released Pro Bowl defensive end Simeon Rice, FOXSports.com has learned. In a meeting between Rice and Tampa management, the team asked the 12th-year player out of Illinois to take a pay cut. When Rice refused, the team released him.

you mean nap. Anyways i think this isn't a great idea. the bucs just drafted Gaines Adams and Rice could help Adams develop better and quicker

They're pretty high on Gaines Adams and this will just give him more reps in Traning Camp.

Just from putting two and two together I expect the Lions to make him an offer. Rod Marinelli has ties to Tampa Bay and thier Cover 2 scheme.

I'm sure he knows what he meant. Not everyone types as perfectly as you.

Anyways, Rice was always a thorn in the Falcons side, so I say good riddance.

If Cincinnati's front office wasn't completely asleep this would be a wonderful signing for the Bengals.

Yep. That would give us a very deep DE rotation with geathers, rice and smith

He's suppose to visit the Giants today and soon after that he's going to visit the Titians.
