Barring the possibility of growing a pair of 34 EEs, or bribing an usher, your best chance is probably to figure out what hotel they're staying and get them as they're getting on/coming off their bus. That's where most of the autograph hounds hang out. Otherwise, it's going to be pretty tough at the arena.

The players generally loiter around in the locker room once they arrive, and they're there on business. You might be able to catch one of them really early before the game, but I doubt there's much chance that they'll stop and take a picture with you.

If you just want a picture, period, you can get pretty close to the court at most of the arenas I've been at, so I bet you can snap them as they're coming out of the tunnel. I was at a game in Portland over the holidays and I could have gotten within arm's length as they came out for warmups.

Well, I'm going to be getting a hotel for a night for the trip, so I'll see what I can do. How I would figure that out.. would have no clue. Another thing that sucks.. they play against the Celtics the next night. I assume they would just take a flight to Boston immediately after the game was over. The night before though.. That could be interesting.

I usually don't like doing stuff like that.. don't wanna be one of those "weird, stalker" fans. But a picture with Kobe and myself would be the craziest thing ever. And I'm spending over a grand on this, so it would be cool to make it even more worth it.

Well, my girlfriend agreed to show Phil her tits to make it happen, and she's got a set of D's on her. So I'm sure that could help.

yes I am about to break the CB rules and talk basketball, but I didn't want to open a new thread just to ask this.

can somebody explain to me what "waived" means in this context.

"Livingston Waived By Memphis
Clippers Waive Hassan Adams"

does it mean that Memphis picked up Livingston and Clippers pick up Hassan then Memphis and the Clippers dropped them or does it mean that they just got picked up by Memphis and the Clippers like the articles on the wiretap imply? I thought waived meant to be dropped off the team.

it is an easier, sneakier way to do a trade, i'd say

both teams agree to drop the guy the other team wants and then they pick them back up

waive means you release a player.

what happened with the clippers and adams was that they found out that fred jones wasn't as injured as they expected, so they signed him to a 10 day contract after releasing him 2 days ago. with jones, they no longer needed adams.

what happened with livingston is that miami basically paid memphis to absorb livingston's salary. since the grizz have capspace, they didn't have to send salary back to miami, this allowed miami to get far enough under the luxury tax level that they can now resign Zo without luxury tax penalties.

I hate to even tell ya Hermes, but we have 80 degree days again here. it's weird.

There was an article in the Ventura paper about how the music drought is over due to a few artists including myself. I got a nice write up and I've been seeing a major crowd increase as the result. things are pretty good right now. If I can get this damn album finished I'll really be stoked.

congrats on not being in a recession DD

from what i've heard while at work, there are plenty of people getting laid off, or that are on extended breaks around here

good thing i'm in a recession proof job, people need their beer and gas and cigs (although we can't sell those for a month)

My girl, Shawna, and I at my High School Graduation last June. I think this was the night I drowned away my sorrows of the Lakers losing the Finals. :( Lol. Yeah.. guess I forgot to smile. :P

My sister, Michelle, took off the red eye, and it turned out real weird looking for me. My eyes turned out pretty much black in the picture. I actually have a greenish type colour for my eyes. But whatever, it was a good night, and I guess you guys can finally a face to the name "TylersLakers."

Also, notice the colour of tie. I had a choice of a green shirt and green tie, but I chose the white and gold instead. There was no freakin' way I was putting on any green shirt.
