Strahan vs. the front office whose side are you on?

Post#1 » by VinnyTheMick » Wed Aug 1, 2007 9:10 pm

Strahan feels "betrayed" that the Giants aren't giving him time to mull retirement. The Giants feel blindsided because Strahan decides to "mull" retirement right before training camp.

Quite simply Giant fans, whose side are you on?

Definitely the front office. If this was two months ago, maybe Strahan. But you can't start this crap at the beginning of training camp. The team needs to move away from the veteran selfishness after what happened with Tiki last season, and Strahan is simply picking up the slack for Tiki. It's disgraceful really, to the point where I almost want him to retire just to shove it in his face.

Yeah, it's pretty clear this is a ploy by Strahan to either get more money, or miss most of the dreaded 'two a days'.
