this team has really grown. we are for real guys. we took it to the only two teams that were a threat to us. i think we are in the cavs and celtics heads right now. think about it kobe was sick and the odom we have all been waiting on showed up. we don;t need himto do this every game, but it's nice to have a game like this in the holster when kobe is not feeling well.
Only on realgm is 27,000 points, 5 rings, 1 rs mvp and 2 finals mvp considered overrated!

It'll be fun, we'll win.

Lamar going over the back? All I saw was him busting Varejao's ass all afternoon. I guess it all comes down to perspective. I mean, how that guy doesn't foul out within 10 minutes of every game is beyond me. But again -- perspective.

I was really impressed with the way gasol and odom worked the ball around to eachother so close to the hoop with all that traffic..some good stuff there and gasol doesn't get enough credit for being a good passer and decision maker.

My boy LO did it again. He's coming up big once again. This is what he's about and yet year in, year out he gets so much bashing from you guys. This is what you lose out on if you trade him. He's a legit third option on a championship team and he showed it here today with Kobe missing majority of the game cuz of the flu.

You don't fear the Lakers in the Finals? What team do you fear exactly? That's a pretty silly statement. The Lakers have shown that they are the best team in the NBA (not just this game, the whole season in general), yet you sound as if it were some fluke that we beat you guys two times this season and that the Cavaliers would handle us in the Finals.

Don't fear any team. I don't view it as a fluke that you won at all. I said you have a great team in the other post. I'm optimistic about the Cavs at all times. Don't take it as a a slight. I'm not blaming this loss on things like the refs or injuries or anything. You won fair and square. We swept the Spurs in the regular season and then got swept in the Finals by them. It's a game and sometimes someone is just playing better ball than you.

I'm damn proud of this team, even since the second half of that Memphis game, this Lakers team has stepped it up a lot.

But I will not take away from your victory. You earned it and you have a great team. Good luck the rest of the way.

Also, Outlaw(Cavs mod) is real quick with the warnings if you're trashing the Cavs. We don't mind criticism of our team. Laker fans were really good on our forum the last time you won. I don't see why we can't still hold good conversation on our board as well. No one likes to lose, but it's not the end of the world or anything. I'll take 39-10 at this point every single time. Peace Laker fans, it's a shame we only get to play twice.
And trust me when I say we don't fear the Cavs by any stretch. They lack depth on the bench and on the front line. I told your fans that the last time we played 3 weeks ago. Most of their shooters are streak shooters anyway. Plus we have the size to close down the driving lanes on LeBron. This will be even a much more taller task for the Cavs once Drew comes back.

In order the Cavs to beat the Lakers they'll have to rebound with a fierce passion, and Varajao will have to stop with the fake hustle and floppin and wild play.

The feeling is mutual bruh.

haha damn I need some of those Zoom Kobe IV's, if he's capable of that while having the flu.

Seriously though Kobe was ko'd by the end of the 3rd quarter. Odom was just a monster on the glass. You can't say enough about how Lamar has stepped up in the absence of Bynum. I didn't think Pau and LO would protect the bucket and control the paint like they did today and they proved me wrong.

As much as I bash Ariza's on the ball defense, he's actually pretty dang good against Lebron. I mean you pretty much give up the fact that Lebron is going to get to the rim whenever he wants so Ariza's gambling doesn't really hurt. Plus the fact that Lebron doesn't use much variety in the way he attacks players, he dribbles deliberately and with power every time which is easy for Ariza to size up and make a steal for. There's no hesitation moves or crossovers that Lebron has in his arsenal. All he does is pull the ball back until the defender pushes up then tries to explode.

Shame on Lebron for thinking he's jesus on the floor. He was trying to lay back all game and wait until the end of the game to put his imprint on the floor. He really hurt the rhythm of the Cavs offense by trying to do a poor man's Nash impersonation instead of trying to be aggressive. By the time the 4th quarter came around he couldn't turn on his clutch like Kobe always does.

Like I said the Cavs do not wanna see the Lakers in the Finals... The Lakers length is too much for them... LeBron gets by Kobe and he has to deal with Odom/Gasol/Bynum... Wallace/Varejao are too small to guard the Laker bigs... Lakers are a horrible matchup for them

Well, our players don't bite, they aren't savage, so no reason for you to fear, I know !

But you now know that if matched up in the finals against you, we could do the same thing we did today... yeah, and add Bynum !

Good luck ! :D
