for either a 2008 5th round pick or 2009 4rth round pick. Solid trade for both teams.

Solid move by the Ethnic Slurs. They finally dealt a reasonable pick to build real depth and veteran character!

Losing him hurts the Jets more than they think it will IMO.

His best asset is that he plays every snap like it's the deciding battle of World War III. He's smart, he's physical, he's an infectious scrapper. He's not a real good pass blocker and he doesn't get to the second level in run blocking as much as you'd like. The Cards thought they wouldn't miss him and they were sorely mistaken, and I think the same thing will happen to the Jets. Enjoy the last year or two of his career as a competent, unexceptionally steady G.
