Way too much work for me, but would you really rather be more comfortable with Grossman as your QB over Green?

probably depends on what my oline situation, that KC line he had is one of the best ever but this year you might go with grossman and who knows if green will be the same.

Your kidding right? Kitna at 21? He's not a top 5, probably not even top 10, but he surely isn't worse than all the QBs that you put ahead of him.

All these QB's at this point aren't better than Campbell

Schaub
Huard
Frye
Kitna
Culpepper
Garcia
Harrington
Grossman
Smith
Green

Why rank Alex Smith so high when Campbell in less time has shown more than him. Both were drafted in the same draft and Campbell in less playing time has shown more poise and a better skill set than A. Smith.

Brady better than Palmer? Brady is more clutch and have leadership quality but if I'm starting a franchise, it's Manning, than Palmer, and maybe Brady or McNabb.

Okay.

It's easy to pick apart somebody else's list but let's see everyone elses.

Not sure why Romo is so far down on the list and I'm also not sure why Quinn is on the list, but otherwise I think thats not to bad if were ranking these guys in terms of current ability to play the qb position and giving their teams a chance to win.

J.P. is a good QB. He has a great arm and is mobile when he needs to be.

I'm taking health into account for my list, as most appear to have done. It really only effects Culpepper and Pennington, both of whom are lower than they would be for an "assuming perfect health" list. Also, this is where I think they'll all be this season, not where they were last season, hence why Eli Manning is so high (and no, I'm not a Giants fan, I just think he'll have a good year).

Peyton Manning
Tom Brady
Carson Palmer
Drew Brees
Marc Bulger
Eli Manning
Philip Rivers
Vince Young*
Matt Hasselbeck
Tony Romo
Jay Cutler
Donovan McNabb**
Chad Pennington
Alex Smith
J.P. Losman
Jake Delhomme
Brett Favre***
Matt Leinart
Steve McNair***
Jon Kitna****
Jason Campbell
Rex Grossman*****
Ben Roethlisberger******
Tavaris Jackson
Trent Green
Damon Huard
Daunte Culpepper
Jeff Garcia
Joey Harrington
David Garrard
Charlie Frye
Matt Schaub*******

*Made his team a lot better than they were without him which, to me, is definition of a good player.

**Most overrated player in the NFL. Puts up good stats, but check out how his backups have fared over the years. It's a pretty big sample size, and for the most part they've been just as good; last year was nothing new.

***Hard to list such great players so low, but these guys are starting to age pretty quickly.

****To me being a good fantasy football QB does not, by definition, make one a good NFL QB.

*****Remember, this is my prediction of how good they'll be this year. I expect Grossman to be better.

******Good in the past, but sucked last year.

*******By default. I've never seen him play in a real game, so I really can't rank him.

Sorry....yes, not what he use to be, but neither has been his supporting cast. In any case, most if not all cred was lost with this ranking....and it may come across as homeristic, but come on...Just look at some of those names ahead of ol' #4. Then again, after 8 the 'S' hits the fan. I know it's easy to shread someone else's list....and appreciate that you did so, but Favre hamburgered between Schaub and Quinn?

I hope people who are putting Grossman at or near the bottom will be surprised. Plain and simple, if he doesn't screw up he's got the potential to be top 10 easily. Huge if, though.
