I have mixed emotions on this, I like Strahan and he'll help a lot but Tuck has really showed a lot in the pre-season and can possibly be Strahan's replacement when he hangs it up. I also think Strahan wanted to skip training camp and thinks he can start immediately which I doubt since he's not in shape. The agent for Michael Strahan tells the Newark Star-Ledger that his client will report to the Giants on Monday.
We've heard this before, but this time it sounds official, coming from Strahan's player rep, Adam Schefter of the NFL Network, and sources via the Star-Ledger. Justin Tuck is still expected to play a prominent role at left end despite Strahan's return. Tuck may even start the opener, as Strahan hasn't spent much time in new coordinator Steve Spagnuolo's defense.
Anyways, good to hear him come back to his senses. LETS GO GIANTS!!!
