Redskins extend Chris Cooley's contract

Post#1 » by Wizards2Lottery » Sat Sep 1, 2007 5:51 pm

Cooley Re-Signed
Cris Cooley signed a 6-year contract extension, he said, and just talked to us about it.
It happened very quickly, Chris said, and he is very excited. A big weight off his shoulders.

I'll get the details quickly.

The Redskins were very proactive here. Good for them.

 one of the most underrated offensive players in the league. Coooooooooooleyyyyyyy

Good signing. As the league starts to eliminate the FB position you are going to see more and more Chris Cooley type H-Backs.

Speaking of the Redskins I really like their team and I think they could contend for a WC spot.

If they can get a consistent pass rush they'll be pretty good.

As long as the concept of Blitzes still exist in the NFL, I don't foresee that at all.

I always thought he was a TE.

EDIT: Anyway, good signing.

Yeah, I don't think he played much of H-Back since his breakout season.
