Giants Season!!!

Post#1 » by *Lakers* » Wed Sep 5, 2007 3:06 pm

I was just trying to see what you guys thought of tom coughlin. I think the giants will play out this season and then he will be fired. He's been there for about three years now or so and the Giants have not done anything. Everybody hates Coughlin and it's not just Tiki.

Too bad...because I do want to see Eli do good.

Unless we get to a championship game, Coughlin will be gone. With Cowher prob wanting to coach again I see no reason why we shouldn't give Coughlin the axe & go after Cowher.

Yeah, I can't see him lasting past this season. We'd have to do really well this year, for him to come back. I think .500 would be the high watermark for us this season.

Talk for yourself, Eli Manning is gonna carry the Giants into the playoffs this year!!

Last year the Giants were 6-2 and then came the injuries, the Giants are healthy and have a defensive coordinator that will make them play their strengths. Jacobs will do so well this year that people will start saying "Who's Tiki??"

YYYEAAHHHH!!! LETS GO GIANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Jints are gonna surprise this season. The defense will be much improved, Eli and Jacobs (1300 yds this season) are gonna break out. The receiving corp will be better with Smith and (hopefully) a healthy Moss and Toomer. Gilbride is a much better O coordinater than Hufnagel. We will win the division this year (I'm not impressed with Philly or Dallas, I wouldn't be surprised if Washington ended up in second).

I got Ol' Blue going 9-7 this year and getting the last Wild Card spot in the NFC.

I'm praying that it'll be a even season, and we won't have to sit through another 2-6 second half. And, I'm hoping Eli finally breaks out of his shell.

As for Coughlin, I'll let my old sig speak for itself:

I'll start rockin it again if they start off any worse than 0-2.

Guys, just as I posted in the other thread, check out the giants website. They say he's day to day. Compare that to ESPN and I don't know who is correct. I don't think the Eli would give an interview if he knew he'd miss some time. He also threw a TD after doctors were looking at him.

Of course they do. The Giants want to have a second opinion and they don't want other teams to start preparing for Lorenzen if he has to play.

Players give interviews after every game. They're obligated to do so.

So? Injury got worse as he sat. The tightness wasn't as bad when he threw the TD.
