So in DJ White's 7 games as a pro he put up some decent numbers.

For the sake of creating this thread let's say you give DJ between 29 and 30 minutes a night. Starter sized minutes.

Can he be to OKC what Milsap is to Utah in a couple years? Does he give you enough to move Collison this off season for a long range shooter? Does he give you enough to contemplate moving Jeff Green?

I think that he's a different guy that Milsap is for the Jazz. I think that he's a decent player and will be able to hold on and have a bench role on a pretty good team. However, I don't think that he is (or will be) at starter level for even a below average team. He's a guy that should be able to find places to get 15-20 minutes a game for the next several years.

Milsap has come off the bench due to Boozer's injury issues. As for your questions, no on the Milsap comparison. Milsap is more like what Malik Rose was early on from his San Antonio days. White to me is more athletic and fluid than Milsap is. White will be the spark that comes of fthe bench to provide some energy and hustle. On Collison, if the Thunder are able to move Collison for a shooter or a player that can answer a weakness than needs to be address, go right ahead. On Jeff Green, keep him as a Thunder. Nuff said.

Collison is a pretty good player for the Thunder he knows his role and was a big time player for the team in some games. I think Collison should be a lock for the team when talking about building a core. Livingston, Weaver, Thabo, Collison, and Krystic (After gaining Thabeet) is a strong bench to fall back on White has enough room to fit.

I think he has a great future in OKC and would be a great 6th man once he get his weight up and condition

7 games is not a good enough indicator of what he can really do yet. I'll wait till until I have a larger sample size to work with before speculating.
