They are so fast, skilled, and i have really been impressed with their toughness in this series. I think it helps that Havlat is in a contract year, but i have been nothing but impressed with that team
That contract year for Havlat also means that you'll have the space to bring in someone else with that money. Chicago is scary good right now and I'm so interested to see if they keep building the team right like they're doing.
There's a pretty big clamoring for the Hawks to resign Havlat, but I'm pretty hesitant on that. This is literally the only healthy year he's had in Chicago, and because of that the only year he's produced. He's going to ask for a load of money. Frankly I think the Hawks can survive without him and use that money elsewhere.
The bigger question is what they'll do with Khabibulin.
And I'm beyond impressed. I thought they'd be a playoff team this season, I didn't think they'd have 100 points and a chance for the 2nd round. However if they don't win tonight I'm rather scared of what could happen in a Game 7 with a young team and a physical force like Calgary.
