Rick Fox = GOAT.
No one player wins the championship. Not Shaq, not Kobe, not Jordan...no one. This is why you can't take Kobe's or no one elses rings away from them. You can't argue against history midranger. Whether you like it or not, greatness is defined by winning at the highest levels. Winning championships is how legacies are carved. Lebron can't cheat history. He has to win. Kobe has already.
Not counting great ABA players. Otherwise I agree in principle.
I just can't believe that the biggest argument against Kobe is Shaq. Shaq got a title with Wade shooting 25 free throws a game. Not an excuse, but definitely something to note.
No one is saying Shaq just won the championships on his own. He needed a great perimeter player with him when he won his four rings.
The difference was that when the Lakers won their titles, Shaq was clearly their best player, he was the reason that they were there and Kobe was just his side kick.
If Kobe wants to prove he is as great as you guys say he is, at least let him make the finals one time as the best player on his team, let alone win them.
LeBron made the finals when he was twenty-two years old and his team was filled with garbage. Yeah, then he got swept by a team with a superior player at the time (Duncan) and two other amazing players in Parker and Ginobili.
