slam mentioned he was going to be away for a long weekend on thursday. i just sent him an e-mail to see if he is around. we might as well wait until 6pm cause waydown is probably asleep now anyway. he usually shows up around 6pm. if slam hasnt come around by then, waydown, go ahead and pick. slam can make his pick when he gets here.

With the next pick, the Aussie Bangers select:

DeMar Derozan and slots him into the 09 rookie cat

From the GM:

We like the addition of Derozan to this squad. We realise that this is a 'potential' pick, and all that we will be asking DeMar to do is run the floor hard, get out on the breaks and to play solid defence. We don't expect a DeMar to be huge offensive threat from this year, but we do like his mid range game.

o34, what are you doing?

you already picked will bynum for the under 6ft cat (even though it was selected out of order).

for now i am using your first pick, bynum, not hill. feel free to pick hill with your pick in the next round.

For our vacant coaching position we take Rick Carlisle. He will lead this team into the future and take advantage of our great players.

I really want to pull the trigger and select the most badass coach in all of coachdom, but you guys are going to have to wait. Victory is inevitable, that's all you have to know.

I sent a big e-mail to Chabber. He's been busy with work, so I don't expect for him to read/reply before I make the pick, but I want to give it the chance. Pick coming within the next 1.5-2 hours
