Lebron James rocking a Rocafella chain

Post#1 » by GuyverADL » Tue Sep 29, 2009 5:48 pm

The basketball superstar took a few questions from the audience following the screening. He was sporting a blue Yankees fitted hat and a diamond-encrusted Roc-A-Fella pendant on his necklace, a nod to his friendship with Jay-Z. When the 2010 free agent was asked if he was enjoying his time in the Big Apple, he responded yet before quickly being asked if he imagined himself living in New York, a subtle inquiry about his rumored union with the Knicks next year.

How is this a subliminal? He's close to Jay, he been throwing up the roc sign, and you're reaching. Delete this.

And wearing a Yankee hat isn't anything either. Yankee hats are the most worn hats and they go with damn near everything. You're getting like the media...

Reaching?

He calls Jay-Z his big brother and mentor. I guess everyone forgets Jay-Z's relationship with the Nets.

asked if he imagined himself living in New York, a subtle inquiry about his rumored union with the Knicks next year.

"Maybe," he said to laughter.

The problem with that is the NY media is perpetuating him coming to the Knicks because the Nets are not as important.

Remember Kidd and Jefferson played for the Nets and lived in NYC.

Basically Lebron is trying to become a young Jay-z he even dressed like him with the NY fitted.

The Nets don't play in Brooklyn. Why don't we wait to see if they even break ground in Brooklyn before even considering the Nets as an option. Because LeBron will obviously not play for the Newark Nets.

That is your opinion.

Their owner is now a shady Russian character. I wouldn't put it pass him to slide Jay-z a brief case full of cash.

Playing in Newark and living in Newark are two very different things.

I am pretty sure the Nets have pre-season games scheduled to be played in Newark.

Lebron is a Jay Z stan. There is no other way to describe it. If he couldn't ball like he can then he would've been one of the stans flaming hip hop message boards back in 01 during the Nas beef.

LeBron will not play in New Jersey. Period. It's an opinion yes, but one that is undeniable. He's not playing across the Hudson. If they move to Brooklyn, they've got a shot. Otherwise they have no shot.
