Can we remove this thread???

Post#1 » by TonyMontana » Tue Oct 13, 2009 4:54 pm

I have been on this board a while now and I have had my differences in the past, who hasnt?
I have address them to my best ability, but it seems that certain boards like the Suns and the Cavs allow their posters to get very personal everytime they disagree and the minute someone replies back no matter what the reply is the Mods on that board allow their posters to say and do as they please with no disciplinary action, but they dont hesitate to give you a warning or punish you since they can and do as they please by showing favortisim to their fans and punish anyone that speaks out about their teams and their fans.

I mean true that at times it does get out of hand, and the mods claim your baiting but they allow the attacks by their boards fans to continue to a point that you cant do anything but reply back in the same way or fashion that they attack you and thats where the favortisim begins. They delete your post give you a warning and they leave their fans posts and attacks on their boards to continue as if nothing has happened.

So I was wondering if thats right? I was just wondering if there are different sets of rules on realgm.

I mean here's a great example.

LMAO, who's everyone??? You mean Cavs homers that have a username like twenty23. As everyone knows I'm not a Kobe fan Im a LAKER FAN, but peps like you give props and credit to someone like Lebron for achieving what???

Tell me something what has Lebron achieved since he has been in the league? What? And you want to sit here and call people homers when your obviously a huge Lebron homer yourself.
Too funny.

Here is your first post in that thread.

In your 2nd post:
It clearly proves who the homer is and FYI Im not trolling and I really dont need to explain to a NUBE like you my reason of being here. Im reply to YOUR post, which you clearly proved you have no clue what your talking about so dont attack me address my post.

After a series of flames, a mod informed everyone, not just you, to stop it, or action would be taken.

This is in your next post after the mod's warning:

You continue to tell people to address your post, yet you cannot do the same. You continually attack and incite- this is the basis of your ban from the general board. You ARE trolling, whether you know it or not. This is not acceptable behavior in ANY forum.

There aren't two sets of rules. Some mods/boards are far more lenient than others. The Cleveland board gave you much more than a simple chance. When you were unable to be civil in your response, or unable to simply leave and stop inciting other posters with attacks against their team and their personalities, you were warned.

Right I agree but your taking a post I made after the constant baiting and attacks by their same posters that basically continued with attacks and name calling. I mean every post and every reply to any none Cav fan always starts by "Homer" and it ends with "Troll". No matter what the reply is.
Of course at some point and time someone will reply back to the poster by calling him a homer. So I didnt know calling someone a homer was against the TES specially when your reply to the poster that is addressing LAKER fans as homers and the mods are allowing that, so what was the difference of me calling him out on his post.

He called out Laker fans as Kobe Homers and I simply asked him how can you call someone a homer when it clearly shows that you are a homer yourself. Is that wrong? Where did I attack him or bait him. I only asked him a question in reagrds of his post.

So if the term homers is wrong or its considered baiting then why is its allowed to be used by their own posters all the time? I mean all the time.

Im sorry but that was my second reply and you can clearly see that it was way before he sent out the warning since I posted that yesterday and he posted the warning this morning.

Okay, get back on topic or we're going to shut this thread down.

and then you can see that I never replied back to twenty23 AT ALL. Yet look at how many times he posted troll and homer as well as other posters that kept on baiting and attacking on the third page. Also look at how many times rjgraca took personal shots at myself. Not only him but the entire board.

rjgraca wrote:Wow. The Laker homers are here to parade about Kobe and his good fortune

Oh, TonyMontana isn't a homer on his word alone. So I guess you are only an unintentional Troller and we believe you on your word alone.

BrooklynBulls wrote:You continue to tell people to address your post, yet you cannot do the same.

Im sorry Im only human, I mean how many times can you sit there and read the same response over and over again when all you read from the begining to the end is Trolls and Homers.

BrooklynBulls wrote:You continually attack and incite- this is the basis of your ban from the general board. You ARE trolling, whether you know it or not. This is not acceptable behavior in ANY forum.

My temporary ban from the G.B was because of the same reason I got warned on here, you have mods that allow their own fan base to get away with everything but the minute someone replies back to them they recieve a warning. Its nothing different than this issue with the Cavs board.

If you allow your own fan base to bait and call out other fans bases and there is no action taken to prevent that, guess what your going to have posters arguing and derailing everything. Thats what Im talking about. Look at this board and see how many good posters have been banned or waived or disciplined.

Its because there are too many immature people on here (even myself at times) that have multiple accounts and all they do is sit on this board and attack everyone. Everyday Laker fans as well as Cs fans get attacked on every board every thread NON STOP.

Its always Kobes a rappist, Lakers got a hand out from the Grizzles, Laker FAKERS, I mean nothing gets done about it, and of course people get tired of the constant bashing and the name callings specially when the thread is about Lets say Lamar Odoms contract and along comes a post like " Laker fans suck balls if Lamar doesnt resign' and the thread still on there with no proper actions. The you come along replying " What the hell does this have to do with Lamar and the Lakers" and then comes all the insults............ Look at the Laker troll, or Fakers are mad...... etc etc.

I mean come on now, you yourself have your limits too. If you allow your own fan base to say and do as they please then how can you come back and disicpline the guy who speaks out about it.
Its never delt the proper way. We have so many great mods on here. Most know me too well and I respect every single one of them, and I have been disciplined by a few of them, but SOME certain mods dont do there jobs and are very onesided towards their own fan base, and I will go out on the record and say its only the Cavs Mods and the Suns Mods.
The rest like Blame Rasho, Flash, NO-KG-AI, Mitchwebber, Every single Laker mod and Celtics Mods Wizards are always doing a great job, westthebest, TB#1, Rooster, as well as the other mods on off topics. Ya I had my issues and problems on some posts, but again who hasnt. At least I go on other boards and I try to interact with other fans, yet if you havent noticed most fans never leave their own boards and post on other boards cause they are scared of posting since no matter what they post they will get attack for their posts and their opinions and a great example of that is the Cavs and Suns boards since they are very unfair and one sided to every fan bases except their own.

Okay I understand and two wrong doesnt make it right, but when you allow your entire board to get away with everything and one person gets bombarded by that board for replying back to an off topic post that you disagreed with and the mods dont take the proper actions then what are you suppose to do, just shut your mouth and move on and then what? Do you think it stops there, NO then its on G.B then its on O.T and at one point and time your going to retaliate back.

Now you said he gave me a chance??

Here is my P.M that was sent to me at 3:33pm before he went publicaly at 3:59 pm when told people to get back on topic. If you notice the time difference. So agian he never gave me a simple chance. He p.md me and warned me when I never replied to twenty23 after my intial post, and thats where he claimed that I was baiting him and arrguing with him, which I wasnt.

Board warning issued

The following is a warning which has been issued to you by an administrator or moderator of this site.Went to far in an argument with twenty23

And then here is his post on his board. So he didnt warn me publicaly, he P.Md me and then told his board to get back on topic and you can clearly see that they still didnt listen to him since the topic was still about me.

Okay, get back on topic or we're going to shut this thread down.

And minutes later you have the same poster that I replied to calling me a Kobe Jock sniffer, and every single reply after that was still an attack on me even though the OUTLAW posted a warning.

And still nothing has been done about those posts.

And this is why I don't post on the Cavs board...

A lot of Cleveland fans are in full-out panic mode right now even though it's highly unlikely Lebron bolts the Cavaliers a lot of the RealGM Cavs fans are paranoid to the point that it has become comical...

You know whats even funnier is that even after The Oultlaw wanred me for baiting and attacking twenty23 and he publicaly wanred everyone AFTER he P.Md me, the same poster is sitting on the same thread and calling me racial names like COON and a jiggaboo. How funny is that and they claim there isnt any favortisim being shown to their fans and board.

I guess the report button just never works on that end of the forum cause I could swear I've reported it several times.

I know and thats why I called him out on his post, but what funny is everything I have posted on this thread is actually happening as we are talking about it.

I was warned I never did reply to him or the other posters except one poster and that was on topic and the insults are still continuing and not only are the continuing it has even gotten racial

twenty23 wrote:this jiggaboo is getting annoying. just gtfo.

And I have reported it since thats what good posters are suppose to do and still nothing has been done about it by any of their mods, and keep in mind this is still after I was warned and I have yet to go back and response to the attacks or the insults.

I mean its amazing how everything Im complaining about is actually taking place as we are discussing it.

Perfect example............ You complain and address your concerns here as you are suppose to about favortisim and then you get a reply pointing the finger at you and your at fault. Then you post facts and concerns and as your doing that the samething your complaining about is going on right in front of your face, but this is where the truth comes out.

Somehow my thread caught someones attention and it gets relayed to the Cavs board and then all of a sudden Poffffff the post disapears like it never happened and the poster gets a heads up from that boards mod and here he is explaining his reasons for being a racist.

Now I believe in this board and the people that run it, so I have taken the time to save the posts as well as the enitre thread just incase.

TonyMontana, please recall the advice I gave you about being rattled and/or retaliating.

I was wondering if this thread can be removed since the problem and my issues have been addressed and I dont see any reason for it to stay up since all matters have been resolved.

Just my take on it.

By the way, thank you for your time and your response as well as the other mods that replied both on this thread as well as the P.Ms, very fair, clear, and I agree a 100%.
