Washington does this deal because we like pekovic and hope brewer can turn around his career. songolia has a bad deal but since we didn't exspect to be players in this free agency anyways it does not effect us that much.

11,939,103*1.25=14,923,879<14,269,425

Phoenix accpets because it cuts a little bit of salary and gives us our point guard of the future and we primarily give up pieces that are more useful for a win now team when we are trying to rebuild

Atlanta Rationale: While I didn't really like losing Ty Lawson, trading him away enables me to move Curry's big contract for smaller chunked contracts which are easier to move. In addition, the pieces I got are all okay players on reasonable contracts, and the picks, although not worth a ton, helped the deal.

Oklahoma City and Utah have reached an agreement:

Utah trades:
Kirilenko 16,452,000
Hickson 1,429,000
Total 17,881,000

Oklahoma City trades:
Lee 7,500,000
Crawford 9,360,000
Total 16,860,000

Salaries obviously work.

Oklahoma accepts this as we manage to move Crawford's unwanted salary, pick up a nice young big in Hickson and add some quality defense with Kirilenko.

Following the trade, the following will be on the block:

- Kirilenko
- Prince
- Ellis
- Jones

Utah accepts. No fan of Crawford, and sorry to give up Hickson, but at least now our parts fit together in a half-decent lineup of Williams / Crawford / R. Brewer / Lee / Bynum, with four of the five young and signed to reasonable long-term contracts.

Bobcats and Phoenix have agreed to this trade

Phoenix
Barbosa 6,600,000
Haslem 7,100,000
total: 13,700,000

Bobcats
Bobby Simmons 11,242,667
Memphis 2010 first (chicago has right to swap)

11,242,667*1.25=14,053,334

Phoenix agrees to the trade to continue building through the draft in addition to gaining a large expiring contract and having more capspace for the 2011 free agency. Haslem and Barbosa just wont be able to get minutes between all the young guys on my team anyways.

TO ALL GMs
The time to decide on Team Options is now over. All players that have TOs have been picked up unless you emailed me already to decline said options.

and

October 24th is the trade deadline before it is time to start sending me rankings for draft purposes.

Bobcats waive Chris Hunter prior to the trade.

Bobcats accept. I have pretty much resigned myself to the fact that I won't be able to land two big name free agents, so I am trying to build up trading pieces to get a star before free agency starts to go along with my draft pick, and any big-name guy I can sign. I will still have about $28,000,000 in cap space when free agency starts (with cap holds, draft picks, etc.) and if I can't land another guy, Barbosa is just another good player off of the bench for me.

Toronto and LA have reached an agreement:

Mehmet Okur $9,000,000
Rafer Alston $5,250,000
for
Lamar Odom $7,500,000
Charlie Bell $3,602,960
Daniel Gibson $4,088,500

$14.25x1.25 = $17.8>15.19

Raptors accept. I hate taking on Bell's contract, but I think Gibson is a really nice shooter to have with Wade/Bosh in the fold and Odom is the real deal. I want to win the East and compete for the Championship and I believe with this deal, the starting lineup of Dalembert/Bosh/Odom/Wade/Calderon is enough to give me that chance. It doesn't hurt that Wade and Odom are extremely good friends and I'm just loving the length and athleticism in my starting lineup right now.

Accepted, Why??? Weve been trying to dump Bell and Boobie's deal for a while. We love Odom, but just feel Okur is a better fit next to duncan.... THis will keep chandler on the perimeter and NOT in the lane blocking shots.... which will help us alot.....ALston is a solid PG on an expiring deal so this deal is overall a good for for both teams involved....finally bryant we got something done....

The New York Knicks and Phoenix Suns have agreed upon a trade.

The Knicks send Jordan Hill ($2,483,280) for Courtney Lee ($1,264,440) and Chris Hunter ($736,420).

Knicks accept, we're not sure on the fit of Jordan Hill on this team, and the fact that we needed to cut roughly 100k from our salary for 2010 is what sparked this move. We waive Chris Hunter after this deal as he's unguaranteed.
