Popped in to say hi. I feel so out of the loop since not posting since Community Thread 8(?). I'll be back soon.

Hey fellas, I'm hoping that someone can help me out a little bit with something. For a little over a year, I use to blow-dry my hair almost everyday. After some time had gone by, I saw that my hair was thinning. I haven't blow-dried my hair for a little over 2 months now, but I haven't seen any major improvements. I don't think my hairline has receded, if it has, it isn't that much, but I want to know if there is something I can do thicken my hair. If anyone can help me out, it would be greatly appreciated.

BTW, funny stuff there Snaq

Since I've stopped blow drying my hair, I've gotten a couple hair-cuts, I haven't seen any real improvement so far though. I've been using a new shampoo, Nutrine Garlic Shampoo, for a little while now and haven't seen any improvements.

hair loss is probably more genetic timing, but anyhow Rogaine works but you have to use it religiously forever. I'll be in head shave boat sometime within a decade.

I don't think its male pattern baldness; I'm not even 20 yet. There's no doubt I damaged my hair from a year of using a blow dryer on my hair almost daily, but hairline is pretty much well intact, it's just my hair is a bit thinner now and not quite as strong.

Just curious, but what's is the average age around here? (Haven't been here as long as some)

I think there have a few members here above 35 clearly that I've noticed. Just a guess since I've noticed some of you here have talked about the old skool Lakers on these boards and other players associated around that era. For those who've been here long enough to know the community, I could really use an answer or two. Also, I'm not really looking for actual age of members, just an estimate maybe. 20's, 30's, 40's. Thankss.

We've done polls a few times in the past. They do tend to let you know a bit more about what kind of posts are coming out of someone, but the answer tends to be highly varied. Lots of HS, College, and some 30 somethings. Some of the HS kids have been surprisingly mature, and some of the oldies surprisingly off the deep end.
