2012/2013 - 750,000

Re: GM a Team 2010 - Trades & Transactions Thread
The Los Angeles Lakers and The Sacramento Kings have to agreed to a semi big deal.
Lakers In/Kings Out:
Kirk Hinrich $9,000,000
Lakers Out/Kings In:
Ben Gordon $10,000,000
- 2013 second round draft pick from Memphis
WHY?
We need a defensive PG who could still hit the three, Kirk Hinrich is one of the few PG's who was actually atainable.... PERFECT PG for the triangle, perfect next to Kobe, perfect with Duncan, perfect PG for Phil to coach, did i mention this deal is perfect for my team? Gotta love the D after this trade. Been trying to get Kirk since this game started, and you can ask every GM from the teams he's been on, on that..... This deal also saves me a million dollars in cap, and 2 million in Luxury taxes.......Good dealing with you Sacto, you built a VERY nice team that should have been better ranked : ).

doing this deal since my team apparently sucked with Hinrich/Bell/Igudoala/Thompson/Okafor
now i will have Louis Williams/Bell/Thompson/Okafor and Ben Gordon as sixth man. which i bet is so much better.....

Its just symptomatic of how name-driven this game is chemistry, fit, and in your case defense arent valued nearly as highly as namepower.

The Knicks and Thunder have agreed upon a deal.
The Knicks send the rights to Victor Claver to the Thunder for nothing.
Knicks accept, we didn't realize his cap hold, and don't want that affecting our cap.

The Wizards and Bucks have agreed to a trade.
The Wizards send:
Sasha Vujacic.............5,475,113
Deshawn Stevenson....4,151,786
Darius Songaila...........4,818,000
2014 Washington second
Total= 14,444,899 X 1.25=18,056,124
The Bucks send:
Zach Randolph..........$17,333,333
The Wizards do this deal because while randolph isn't perfect the players we trade for him weren't going to see the floor anyways so we might as well take a chance. This also clears up roster spots that we desperately need.

Bucks accept and are glad to get rid of some money in the 2011 season and a less than stellar attitude. Also needed the swingmen.

Re: GM a Team 2010 - Trades & Transactions Thread
The New York Knicks and Memphis Grizzlies have agreed upon a trade (after LeBron signing).
The Knicks send Jameer Nelson ($8,100,000), Courtney Lee ($1,352,640), and Andray Blatche ($3,260,331) in exchange for Derrick Rose ($5,546,160) and Anderson Varajao ($7,031,818).
Knicks Outgoing/Grizzlies Incoming: $12,712,971
Grizzlies Outgoing/ Knicks Incoming: $12,577,978
Knicks accept - It might seem weird to trade away shooting after we've acquired LeBron, but this deal was agreed upon before FA (and LeBron was informed before he chose the Knicks), and a sort of insurance policy to bring us that franchise PG. Under D'Antoni, we're really excited at the prospect of the Knicks fastbreak. We hate to lose Blatche and Lee, especially having to take on Varajao's long contract, but he's accustomed with LeBron's game, and is a solid defender.

Memphis accepts. When i made this trade (b4 FA) I really decided to go for the gusto. All or nothing. I thought that Nelson/Lee/Durant/Boozer/Blatche would have attracted Wade, but sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
We hate giving up Rose, but we gain an experienced PG in Nelson, a solid 2 guard in Lee and an underrated player in Blatche.
