Can you please fix the contraction draft Order? Orlando still owns its first round contraction pick and should be picking 5th overall....

Re: GM a Dynasty - Discussion Thread
By the way guys I am very open to suggestions in terms of how we run the game, etc. I think the cap is at a good number at 70 mill with a 90 mill hard cap, and I’m planning on having every “season” being 2 weeks. I will have a timeline up when I get the time. Open to any suggestions.
TOR please add salary info.

Re: GM a Dynasty - Discussion Thread
2 weeks sounds about right, maybe after the first "season" we can see how it goes and make a judgement then.

Gary Payton can be had at a reasonable price. Looking for future draft picks and players on rookie deals.

this should is the link for the NBA in 1999/2000

if you click on your team, the team salaries are at the bottom. you can click on each player to see what they were paid for all the seasons.
As far as contracts are concerned, use this link
http://www.prosportstransactions.com/ba ... Search.php
type in the players name (correct spelling is important) and you can see when contract were signed and for how long. Anything signed after 2000 did not happen, contracts before that are what we are using. If a player signed a 6 year contract with player option after 4th year, and the player opted out. I just listed it as a 4 year deal, because no way of know what the option was.
quoting this so i dont have to go back and find it again.

Re: GM a Dynasty - Discussion Thread
so what are we going to do about the undrafted contraction players?
Will they be FA's that teams can sign to new contracts? or will they all be waiver wire players that teams can claim their current contract untill the season is over?
My guess is after contraction draft we will then end the 99/00 season and vote on standings then have the 2000 draft sometime soon.
also when can we start to extend or resign our own free agents and what type of max salary increases will we be using?

Those undrafted players will hit the FA pool.
No extensions until after the contraction draft, keep in mind it willl be very hard to extend a player right away. Most will want to hear our offers from other teams, though you'd have to screw up pretty bad to lose a franchise player or a team with caproom will need to have a hell of a team.

Re: GM a Dynasty - Discussion Thread
I'd love to get an extra 3rd round pick in this draft. Could make a guy like Harrington available to make it happen. Maybe future picks.
