I turned the game on right as the Third Quarter started. I must say, I dont think I have ever seen any other Piston, do what CV did tonight. He hit so many different kinds of shots, its borderline crazy. Post shots, floating shots, three-balls, dunks, swooping hooks, i mean WTFBBQ?

He may be the most offensivly gifted Piston ever. I honestly cant think of another Piston who not only has every move known to man, but can go on these insano scoring binges. Its like stepping up to the bar, and ordering not 1, not 2, but 12beers, and downing them in 1 minute.

**** guy is outragously talented on offense.

Holy ****.

Pistons beat Bobcats 98-75 for 1st winning streak
Charlie Villanueva had a season-high 30 points and outscored Charlotte by himself in the third quarter, leading the Detroit Pistons to a 98-75 win over the Bobcats on Wednesday night.

Gerald Wallace scored 12, Flip Murray had 11 points and Raymond Felton added 10 for the offensively challenged Bobcats, who have lost three straight.

Ben Gordon, who signed with the Pistons as a free agent along with Villanueva, scored 22 points. Gordon has scored at least 19 points in every game this season. Detroit's Will Bynum scored 16 points and the 6-foot guard sparked a second-quarter run with a baseline drive and dunk past 7-1 center Tyson Chandler. Rodney Stuckey also scored 16 for the Pistons.

He's always been this skilled offensively. He just needs to put in the effort on defense. He really isn't bad, especially for the contract he got. But he has to be a two-way player. He's shown the willingness to play defense, but it's going to take a concentrated effort every single night.

And the best part is, most of the time he looks awkward doing it.

Agreed. Jerekbo and Dayne are both very productive at the 3. Stuckey has shown that he can also hold his own at the 3 for some short stretches

Our defense looks as good as last season. Its not like Prince has the ability to shut down superstar or all star SFs of the league when hes on the court.

Our offense runs really well with Gordon and CV as 1a or 1b offensive options. Rip would have to defer to them if he comes back.

He's certainly got a Rasheed like talent on offense and unlike Sheed he's not afraid to take the shots.

Your joking right? Lots of age, and game expereince here my friend.(I can cope with the expereince, its the age postion thats starting to bug me) Isiah certainly had a bevy of moves at his disposal, and was gifted beyond comprehension. I guess its just the speed in wich CV does it, combined with his awkerdness, and how un-expected it was that made me gush like that. Its also been a long time since we have seen a Piston with this kind of offensive explosivness. Grant could score alot, but I never got that "hes not going to miss, take a half court three and make it, no ones stopping him" feeling watching him play.

Rasheed was just gifted, but lazy, and to passive. CV, if he works on his defense, and truly makes an effort, can become an all-star with ease.

CV reminds me a little of Jamison, in terms of flailing body controll.

I really dont know why anyone expected anything out of Wilcox. Red Flags were raised when he couldnt get off the bench for teams starved for bigs. He's terrible.

Great games from CV, Stuck, Gordon, and Bynum

Kuester was talking about getting more assists (Pistons were dead last with like 14 something) and so its good to see Stuck with 7 and GOrdon with 8

Word was that Oklahoma and New York had decided to develop young players.

Wilcox had put up some solid numbers for the Clippers and Sonics/Thunder of 13 points and 7 rebounds.

I wonder why he hasn't established himself?

If he does, he'll give the Pistons a big boost.

I hope he turns things around for himself and the Pistons. I sympathize for him being stuck on bad teams, but he has to take advantage of his opportunity here in Detroit.

This was a solid win in which the Pistons outplayed a team they were better than, even while missing Hamilton and Prince.

Jerebko and Daye struggled. Summers played a few minutes to begin earning his stripes.

Ben Wallace led the team defensively and on the boards and the guards provided most of the scoring.

But Villanueva is really finding his groove. He had his best game to date with 30 points and 4 rebounds in 31 minutes. He could've scored more, but Coach Kuester sat him for much of the fourth.

Prince will be gone for a while, but I'm really looking forward to seeing how the Pistons do when Hamilton gets back. The Pistons have really been growing.

I'm looking forward to the Washington game on Saturday, even if Antawn Jamison does return for this weekend.

Look I always liked CV before he was with the Pistons, but two good games does not compare to someone that is top 50 all time. Please already it was not even worth a response.

The problem is, everything he touchs the ball a disaster happen. I could expect that from Kwame but he is like 10 times worse than Kwame and he is 1000000000 times worse than Kwame on defense. The guy contribution to the team is negative.

I said that before gonna say again. Put Afflalo to play PF and he will do a better job and i am dead serious.

I like the idea of playing Daye at SG

he is very tall and won't be easily outplayed at the 2.

Wilcox is our worst player. But he is cheaper (player's option in 2010!!) and has a shorter contract than Maxiell's. Maxiell has 1 rebound n 1 FGM in 11minutes, very bad.

I think Kwame, Big Ben, Jerebko n CV shold be our bigs, with Summers backing up.

Get rid of Max (5mil) and wilcox's contract and we can free up to 8mil a year

Don't lose sight of the fact that we played the Bobcats (without Raja Bell, no less) today.
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.
