the suns outrebounded the lakers because the suns' scrubs outrebounded the lakers scrubs 17-6 from when kobe exited the game

Suns are 8-2 for first 10 games. Lakers have nuggets, and cavs coming up. Let's not get too cocky here, fellas.
The Phoenix Suns - 54-28. Projected Record: 54-28 3rd Seed

The Phoenix Suns - 2010-2011 Projected Record: 30-52 3rd lottery pick.

Soooo... I have something to say... it is obvious STAT is not a MAX contract player... A MAX contract player doesn't come into a big game and throw up 2-15... a MAX contract player would of showed up and made Bynum his bitch...

Ahahahahahahahahah

I am a person who has watched the NBA for the last 20+ years of my life. You, on the other hand, are probably a 17 year old boy who jumped on the Laker train when Shaq was on the team because daddy is probably a wagon jumper too, then jumped off when Shaq left and they couldn't get past the Suns in the playoffs, then jumped back on last year. The 80s Celtics, 90s Bulls, and SHAQ's Lakers (hell even the 90s Rockets and 90s Kings) could beat this squad by 20 any night of the week. In the words of Chad Ochocinco, child please.

cool. nevertheless your just another online poster. oh man !! the "80s celtics, 90 bulls and shaqs lakers can beat this squad by 20?" another lame assumption of yours that you cannot prove, just liek your assumption of me being 17 who jumped on the laker train. hahahahaha. ill stick with my argument. "search nba.com for the tonights score, google 2009 nba champions". Please, dont use info that you cannot prove to argue, maybe your just not too bright. Goodnight.

Wanna know something shocking? Look at the box sheet:

Suns rebounds 55 total
Lakers rebounds 50 total

Suns actually won the rebounding battle. Wow.

Respect where it's due, man. Kobe's been untouchable and has that sort of "I'm going to get you, no matter what" feeling that I used to get watching Jordan play anyone. The post game is also eerily reminiscent, though he goes to face-up moves a little more than MJ did. It's certainly not hurting his efficiency or anything else, though. He's just nasty right now. Right now, watching him, is the closest I've ever seen anyone come to playing like MJ did.

I have a feeling that Kobe's fg% will be nuts this season. He was 13-21 tonight without taking a single three point shot. As long as Gasol doesn't crowd him out of the post I can see him setting a career high for fg%. If he cracks 50% I think he's a lock for MVP.

Final thought before bed:

Bynum usually lays an egg against most teams. In fact, Laker fans always scream at the TV or in the arena at him when Bynum has the ball.

but...

For some reason, Bynum smokes the Suns each and every single time. Amare looks like a little school girl next to Bynum each time they meet.

If I were Amare I'd be embarrassed since Bynum has schooled the Suns every single time they've met.

Anyway, like I said: I don't think that the combination of bad Amare night, bad Richardson night, bad Nash night, 3 b2bs in a week, versus a well-rested champ team, on an away game, is going to happen again anytime soon.

Now can we move on or should mace start playing whack-a-troll?

It's not for some reason. When the Lakers play small teams w/o Pau Gasol, Bynum usually has good stats.

Lakers are the champions with a high level of talent and experience. Suns, not.

For someone who watched the game out there ( I could not I had to work tonight) please tell me how we lost...how did we only have 12 assists?? how did we end up going from only down three 40-37 to getting blown out? How did Amare go 2-15? I figured J rich would go 2-9 eventually. He was on a hot streak that wouldn't last. How did the lakers shoot 39 percent from the foul line lol?

Andrew Bynum averages 21 and 11. When he has the ball you can make an argument that he has better post moves than dwight howard. I wish we gave him the ball more.

Thats not saying a lot though, he does have better post moves than Howard.

They won, we lost. Tired legs nothing. No excuses to come out THAT flat.

Just pick up and move on. The Lakers were the ones who had everything to lose from losing tonight. They won against a clearly inferior team. Whoopty-freakin'-do. Congratu-f'n-lations.

I don't like to give excuses and I won't. Truth is, we didn't come out to win and that's why we lost. BurningHeart is right, we came out flat and even though it's a b2b, most of our starters had plenty of rest from the blowout of NOH.

Either way, right now we're 1-2 against contenders. Which is nothing new if anyone has been following the Suns the past half decade.
