season over... 4-5, terrible loss to a raggedy jags team.

up by 1, our defense could not stop gerrard and the jags from drving the ball down our throats.. 3rd and 9 and we are getting gashed for 12 yard plays?

this defense is so overrated. No pass rush at all.. we need to draft D-line

And braylon edwards needs to hold onto the damn ball!!

This is wonderful to see.

Ryan is a complete tool and he is running a team full of jerks.

I hated the Jets after watching them lose to the Dolphins THE FIRST TIME and cry about it after the Dolphins rammed it up their ass and made them like it but then week after week the Jets cry after losses like they are defending Super Bowl Champions that are getting tough breaks.

They are making themselves look stupid. That's what you get when you hire a guy like Ryan and trade up to draft noodle-arm Sanchez then anoint him the franchise.

I love watching this train wreck and I'm sorry to Jets fans but your team is acting like a bunch of ass-holes and it's coming home to roost for them.

Well, our defense isn't that terrible but yesterday clearly showed that we aren't close to where Rex wants us to be. Our DLine without Jenkins is VERY average. DeVito, Douglas, Pitoitua, Pouha, even Ellis at times... all journeymen. Next problem is our pass rush and look back a couple of weeks, I said it that it is a HUGE problem when calvin Pace is your best pass rusher. Now we are still a good defense but this unit with guys like Revis, Harris, Jenkins, Scott etc. and Ryan at the helm has the potential to be one of the best in the business, but it's clear we need upgrades. Defensive Line should be a top priority and if we can add a true pass rusher for the OLB position, sign me up. Problem is we have so much money wasted on BT, Pace and Gholston, I can't see us spending a high pick or serious free agent money on an edge rusher. We might cut Gholston but we'll see, I would love to replace him with Brandon Graham, Jerry Hughes or Sergio Kindle... Now another problem we have is that we have no number two cornerback. Strickland is terrific as the nickelback but outside, Lowery is below average, scared of getting beat and don't get me started on the guy with the glass hamstring, Lito. Low risk signing gone bad if you ask me.

Here are a few names I wouldn't mind to see on the Jets at some of the positions of need:
CB - Donovan Warren (Michigan), Patrick Robinson (Florida State), Trevard Lindley (Kentucky)
OLB - Sergio Kindle (Texas), Brandon Graham (Michigan), Jerry Hughes (TCU)
DL - Anthony Montgomery, Kedric Golston (both Redskins), Barry Cofield (Giants), Jerrell Powe (Ole Miss), Arthur Jones (Syracuse), Vince Oghobaase (Duke), Phil Taylor (Baylor)

Most of these guys should be available and they would help. We need more athletes, bigger guys along the defensive line and guys who bring a nastiness to our defense. Watching guys like Kerry Rhodes or Bryan Thomas over the season is just awful considering the money they get and in Rhodes case, that he is considered one of our leaders. Well, when he has no heart it doesn't bode well for the entire unit.
Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things. And no good thing ever dies...

I had amazing seats to this game. Too bad the only thing they were good for was a field level look at the end of our season. The minute Jenkins went out the season was over. In a way it's good that we're going through this though as maybe it will send the message that trash talk is never the way to go with an unproven team.

Sanchez will get his seasoning and the team will be OK next year. I wrote us off as 8-8 this season with all the transition looks like we're on pace for that.
