He clearly can't bare to face me in the playoffs. Probably better off this way.

Chances are already very slim that anybody will be able to beat your team. If you're going to stream every time there's even a slight possibility of somebody having a chance what point is there?

Well... I don't think it's against the rules, is it?

I don't expect rules to change midseason so hopefully something will be done next offseason to combat streaming. If not I won't be back next season and you can pick up somebody who does like streaming f.i. Fraan

Personally, because this is a dynasty league and fairly deep (200+ players), I think streaming is fine. Because players are invested for the long term, only one or two spots get streamed at most anyway. Any manager who does can risk having a long term player (e.g., Lawson) put into the pool. From my standpoint, I've streamed spots in this league before, usually to combat injuries. I'd hate to a lose an active manager, but I don't see a need to put in move restrictions. (I also like seeing Brian's fickle adding/dropping as it makes me pay attention to players for other leagues.)

On the AlciG benching his whole team, while it's not against the rules, it does disrupt the unwritten guidelines that this is an active, competitive league. Inactive managers are booted, one-sided trades are vetoed, etc. So I'd say being non-competitve is not acceptable, moreso than streaming.

Not at all! One less person for me to worry about.

You're going on about nothing. Fact is, this league had been in existence two years before you had joined on. You don't think streaming was brought up? It was never decided that it was so beneficial to a manager that we'd cap weekly moves. People have streamed here before. Christ, Brian does it every year. It's not a concept new to you joining this league.

I've already stated that I don't mind a cap on weekly moves. But if you want to continue this cry-baby protest because you're butt hurt you didn't get a win last week, go right ahead. As you said, it's not against the rules.

For the record, this has been discussed before because of tanking.

Year two, it was near the end of the season and it looked like I wasn't going to finish in the bottom two, so I sat my best players two days straight. Someone (had to have been one of Blake, theman or Carl... Probably the latter) brought it up and it was decided that if I continued to do it I would lose lottery balls. I agreed and didn't do it again.

That, I believe is a rule, although I don't know if it applies to butt hurt protests. It's just one that we have to self police, so you won' see it on the Y! league settings.

But that's up to the rest of the league to decide. I'd let you do it all year if it were up to me.

Yes... streaming has definitely been brought up. Typically, streaming has not been an issue. You'll be dropping talent to the wire and the weaker teams will gobble up anything of real value. And it's adding to a team turnovers... and it doesn't always have an impact at the end of the week... and it doesn't always have much of an impact at the end of the year. If somebody is streaming, you can always 'stream back'. Or you can call them out if you think its excessive.

We can always re-evaluate if people think that streaming becomes a big issue. But as of now, it's allowed for the reasons mentioned above. If it becomes a league issue, the commissioner can bring it up on an individual basis. Personally, I don't think it's that effective...

Purposefully benching players to get a better lottery pick is against the rules. It has much more of an impact on the overall scheme of things than streaming. Let's combat issues of streaming if you think it's excessive, please don't crap out on us...

I'll second Sly's comments on streaming. Frankly, I'd love to stream this week, since my guys have played totally pedestrian against Carl (of all teams...come on guys!). But the fact of the matter is, I'm having a hard time dropping anyone for fear of losing them.

If anyone has reason to be pissed it's Skai, who probably doesn't want the 9-0 victory. His team sort of needs that John Wall pick next year. Otherwise though, this isn't having any effect on the league. Until next week I guess, so we should probably try to solve this soon-ish.

If Fraan is in, I'm out unless there is a cap on moves.

Streamers are pussies.

Skai should sit all his players but I guess it is a little late for that.
