Official Trade

Knicks receive:
Brian Cook - 3.5 million
Jerome James - 6.6 million
future 1st round pick (top-16 protected)
total: 10.1 million

Bulls receive:
Eddy Curry - 10.5 million
Wilson Chandler - 1.2 million
total: 11.7 million

Knicks Logic:
We finally get rid of Curry. Sure, it costs us Chandler, but with Gallanari holding down the 3 spot, it's not a huge loss. Plus, we get a 1st round pick to utilize in future deals.

Bulls accept, we hate to take on Curry, but like the prospect of adding Chandler to this team. He started the season slow, but he's coming around, especially the last nine games averaging 20.1 points per game on .524 from the field.

Salaries obviously work.

GSW accept. We like bringing in a proven winner in Tony Parker. We think he can lead this team and help improve our rebuilding process. Monta is younger and a better scorer, but we like Parker coming in to lead our young guys.

trade approved, update your rosters. However, San Antonio, please list your draft picks as you do not have NONE.

The Wizards shed long-term salary and get a potential replacement for Jamison on an unguaranteed deal.

Dallas accepts. We got Gilbert for pennies on the dollar. We have an owner, organizational structure and coaching staff that can do what it takes to allow him to be successful, unlike Washington (can you tell I'm a Wizards fan?).

SG Willie Green $3,682,000
PF Jason Smith $1,418,880
2012 1st Round Pick (Unprotected)
2010 2nd Round Pick

While the Pacers are sad to deal Brandon Rush away, we felt it was imperative to ship T.J. Ford off with his contract being more of a detriment on the way we were looking to take our team. We get two young, promising players, a wily veteran, and two potentially high picks.

We really like Rush as our SG of the future. Willing to part with Lou to get this done, and we feel that we are buying low on TJ Ford who has proven he can start in this league. Nice dealing.

Why? We feel this deal doesn't make our team that much worse and when all our bad contracts come off in 2011 we should be a team ready to make a run in the Western Confrence.

Also, New Orleans waives Devin Brown

CP3 for Gordon and Kaman.

LAC sends: Eric Gordon $2,819,880, Chris Kaman $10,400,000, Marcus Camby $9,150,000, 2010 min protected 1st = $22,369,880 x 1.25 + 1K = $28,062,350

LAC gets: Chris Paul $13,520,500, Peja Stojakovic $13,392,000 = $26,912,500

NOH sends: Chris Paul $6,760,250 BYC, Peja Stojakovic $13,392,000 = $20,152,250 x 1.25 + 1K = $25,290,312

NOH gets: Eric Gordon $2,819,880, Chris Kaman $10,400,000, Marcus Camby $9,150,000, 2010 min protected 1st = total $22,369,880

After reviewing the time stamps I have still received one veto on this trade after it was changed Since it is early in the trade it is still under its normal waiting period for approval.

We really needed a backup PG SG after losing Redick. Foye's presence should help us to keep Nelson's minutes down throughout the season while giving us a scoring punch off the bench.

Trade denied, 5 vetos on this when i got home from work and I agree, there is no value in this trade that is close to CP3s value. Peja has one more year so its not even a bad contract. Your not saving much salary since Kaman is locked up only 14 million saved next season. The first round is top 10 protected which means you wont get it.

this is a different trade. i posted it at the top. i believe vetoes refer to the gordon/kaman/r. davis for cp3/peterson deal. i'd appreciate if u double checked the time u received any email versus the time of the new trade version.

after speaking to several gm's in the chat i'd like u to reconsider the vetoes u looked at since i believe even more firmly they are for the previous version of the trade.

^ i have looked at them, one is after the time stamp. Mind you only by 13 minutes so it could also be for the old one. Trade will go about its normal time frame for approval.

The Washington Wizards and Los Angeles Clippers announce a trade.

Wizards send:

Jason Terry $9,075,000, Mike James $6,466,600, 2010 WAS 2nd = $15,541600

Clippers send:

Baron Davis $12,100,000, Kareem Rush $825,497, 2011 LAC 1st = $12,925,497 x 1.25 + 100,000 = $16,256,871

Baron Davis gives the Wizards a star scorer. Also the salary savings getting the Wizards under the luxury tax.

OKC Gets:
Devin Harris 8,400,000
Eduardo Najera 3,000,000

Total:11,400,000

New Jersey Gets:
Russell Westbrook 3,755,640
Brian Cardinal 6,750,000

Total:10,505,640

10,505,640x1.25%=13,132,050

13,132,050>11,400,000

OKC accepts because i felt i needed a better PG who plays smarter and more under control and knows how to run a team. Im sure with a team full of scorers around him it will make things much easier on Harris. With Durant, Jefferson, Bogut all capable of scoring.

Ok I have two vetos on this new trade. It will be 36 hours from now at least before anymore trades will be approved as I am going out of town because of a death in the family.

NOH GM please send me an email with an explanation of this trade. why, what, when where, etc plans for the future. I will get back to this veto when i return. sorry.

had another veto on this. 3 in total.

ok so I had a long post made on this, and posted it and it never came up. I dont feel like writing it again so heres the jest of it. NOH had decent reasons why he wanted to do the trade. However, i contacted some people outside the game and asked their opinion on it and they agree with the vetos. While the trade does suit the needs of NOH team right now. The value in return for Chris Paul was just not there. Any trade involving Chris Paul should have started with Griffin and then begun to spread out from there.

PHI and DAL have a trade to announce.

Elton Brand - $14,858,472
2010 1st (top 4 protection)

for

Kenyon Martin - $15,863,636

I know I said I’d wait until Monday to announce trades...but I had to post this one. I don’t mind if Mascot wants to confirm it when he gets back or T-Mac does after 24 hours.
We get rid of Brand’s contract for a 2011 expiring. We plan on being a major player in the 2011 FA period. Costs us our 1st this year, unless we tank and get a top 4 pick.
