Denver sends:

JR Smith $6,171,426
Joel Przybilla $6,857,725
2010 2nd Chi/Por

Total: $13,029,151

Houston sends:

Ben Gordon $10,000,000
Chuck Hayes $2,147,750

Denver accepts. We like Gordon's ability to play both Guard positions and we feel that putting him next to Carmelo Anthony will alleviate pressure off both of them. We also like Chuck Hayes' defense and hustle. Sad to lose JR but we feel that this is a good move for the long term growth of our team.

Houston Accepts. We feel that Tony Parker/JR Smith can be our back court for the next 8-10 years. These to compliment each other very well. Ben Gordon was a nice piece to have but he is just to small. Hayes will be missed in Houston with his hustle and defense, but we feel once Pryzbilla is healthy we win that part of the deal also. The 2nd is just gravy. Good dealing again Denver.

***Pending my roster update***

The Orlando Magic and Philadelphia 76ers have agree do the following

Orlando will send

Jameer Nelson - 8,100,000
Jason Williams - 825,947

8,925,947

for

Delonte West - 4,254,250
Brandon Rush - 1,934,160
JJ Hickson - 1,429,200

7617610 x 1.25 = 9522012.5 > 8,925,497

Deal Works

With Paul as our starter now, we really didn't have space for Jameer. With that in mind, we're glad to be able to send him to his hometown in Philly. West, Rush and Hickson fill out our roster nicely and should be able to contribute immediately.

Confirmed. We grab an allstar calipur point guard on a great contact. We now have a nice young core going forward and will look to the 2010 FA class for our next major move.

We needed a vet PG and this will allow us to move Barbosa to the bench as a scoring 6th man.

LA accepts

This will be coming out of our $4,268,904 TPE

Ariza ($5,854,000), D.George ($1,600,000)

Miami accepts because it helps our rebuilding process. This was actually my 3rd option of a trade with N.O. but the pick sealed the deal for me. I love this upcoming draft class and liked Collison alot in last years draft and like what he has offered off the bench this season. I wish Ariza well, he was a nice fit here, but Collison and a 1st was too good to pass on

Miami and Denver have a game changer to announce..........

Miami sends
M.Chalmers ($756,000), D.Cook ($1,326,120) and A.Johnson ($2,062,000)
to Denver for
S.Ibaka ($1,120,200) and C.Hayes ($2,147,750)

Miami does this simply to add size. We are sad to see Chalmers go (and his cheap cap number) but need to get bigger and this trade does that for us. We do add some extra 2010 money which we didn't want to do but still have enough available.
2012 GMAT Christmas Edition : OKC Thunder

PG: DWill / Bayless
SG: DWade / VC / Grant Hill
SF: KD / MWP
PF: Ibaka / Landry
C : DMC / Dalembert / Kelly Olynyk

draft rites to Serey Karaey

Denver accepts. Our PG position was fookin pathetic with Telfair starting and we have a nice fit next to Gordon in Chalmers now starting. We also get a nice backup SG [which we were also missing] in Cook.

Portland signs Powell to an unguaranteed contract.

Portland also signs Von Wafer if another team hasn't already picked him up.

Portland Signs Salim Stoudamire to an unguaranteed minimum contract.

Salim's a Portland native and a terriffic shooting combo guard. He may not be a long term solution for us, but we like his fit next to either Roy or Nash.

The LA Lakers and Chicago Bulls have agreed to a trade.

pending approval of the LAL/WAS deal...

Leandro Barbosa/Earl Watson for Kirk Hinrich

LB/EW = $6,600,000 + $2,800,000 = $9,200,000
KH = $9,500,000

deal obviously works

LA gets a better fit next to Kobe in the starting lineup but loses some scoring off the bench. We feel Kirk should be a nice triangle PG so...

LA accepts

We didn't want to do this, as we like Hinrich's fit on our team, but ultimately we couldn't keep him, and obtain our goal in terms of where we want to be capwise. I'd either have to kept Hinrich, and lose another one of my core players, or be able to keep my core, and not downgrade too much, if it all with Barbosa. We lose some defensively, but gain that same difference, offensively. We also understand he's struggling with injuries this season, but his minutes are slowly starting to rise, and his averages of nearly eleven points is in under twenty minutes of play.

Charlotte accepts. Murphy allows us to space the floor more and I like CDR's game in a scenario where he can be a more efficient player with less touches. I think my starting lineup is pretty much complete and good enough to compete in the East.

Why? We get a favorite of ours who fits in with our young core's age and pick up a decent point guard to stopgap until we find a more permanent fit.
