Let's be serious, Robert Sarver is not paying Amar'e the max(that's what it will take to keep him), bird rights or not. He will not invest that much money with Amar'e, with his knee concerns and such.

Amar'e has to feel pretty slighted at this point. Three years his name has been in trade rumors. During the AS game interviews, he stated he felt he was being slapped in the face.

At this point, the STAT and his agent are CLEARLY looking towards being a free agenythis summer.

Miami, his home State, and a place where Amar'e owns some real estate, will be at the top of his list.

Nah he's likely to stay a Suns player unless Riley blows the Suns away with an offer tomorrow.

729+ pages and counting all for...nothing. And that is why I no longer get worked up over trade talk with Amare and follow the news throughout the day.

Really? This is the first right thing he's said publicly in a while. What about last off-season when he was talking up other teams like they could get him for cheap. Or when he killed proposed trades by bluffing about opting in.

He needs a PR agent, been saying that for a while now.

I agree that everything he's said hasn't been perfect but you have to remember that Amare is representing himself and trying to get whats best for him. Especially when it comes to contract extensions. Kerr and Sarver on the other hand are supposed to represent the Phoenix Suns(Unfortunately). I don't think Amare has said alot which would hurt his personal value. Kerr and Sarver however have, such as not immediately going out and telling the media that Amare wasn't being shipped.

Even if you are trying to get rid of someone you don't telegraph a fire sale. If so all you'll end up is with crap offers. If the FO was smart they would have called Amare today and had him sign an extension. Then they would have all the leverage to trade or not trade him tomorrow.

I just don't buy it..Bosh loves Miami (city) and spends many off seasons there, also the chance to play with Wade is hard to pass up and you can see Bosh feeling like the odd man out when most players live in the States, as bad as that sound, there is nowhere like home, even for a basketball player. and history has shown that in regards of US players in Canada

You're right, Sarver won't. I do think we end up doing a sign and trade though. I don't see us letting Amare walk and getting nothing in return. A sign and trade doesn't necessarily guarantee he goes to the Heat.

Then Amare's not going to Miami.

Maybe not now, but probably in July ... and for nothing.

No, Kerr will extend him. Next time the Heat think about trading for him the price will be higher.

All those teams are better then a Miami with Wade and amare cause you have no talent around them

Talent will follow, it always does, but that is the main reason Riley is trying not to offer Beasley, becuse Beasley is a potential star at a cheaper price and Miami will need another star aside Wade and top FA ..... role players are a dime a dozen. and they always chose a team with stars, it is job security in a sense.

If he still wants to be extended after all of this.

It's all speculation. You think he'll stay, I think he'll go. We'll see.
