Someone on the Philly board said the Amare to Philly trade is done. No link though and it got locked. Lol what a tool.

Re: Alll Amare Talk Here: Thread 7
"It was definitely tough," Stoudemire said. "When the rumors first came out, it was tough because I didn't quite understand the reason behind the trades. I didn't know what I was doing wrong. I didn't know what they thought about my game or such. It bothered me there for a little bit. I just happened to turn the switch and get back and focus on what the ultimate goal is and that's to win ball games. That allowed me to play at a high level."
Asked if the deadline will bring relief one way or the other, Stoudemire said, "I'm relieved now. The only thing that's stopping my celebration right now is the fact that we lost. After a win, we always enjoy ourselves but tonight we can't really enjoy it as much because we lost."
Asked if he was surprised to still be with the team, Stoudemire said, "I wouldn't say surprised because I really didn't know what was going to happen. There were a lot of rumors out there with the Cavaliers, the Miami Heat and the 76ers. There were a lot of rumors that were circulating so I didn't know what to expect. Whatever decision is being made by the front office, we're going to live with it. We're going to continue to make this push for the playoffs and see what we can do."
Asked if he expects to remain a Suns past 1 p.m., Stoudemire said, "I don't know. That's the tricky part. The unknown is always a mystery. I think all I do is enjoy my day off and see what happens."
Asked about his $17.7 million player option if he remains a Sun, Stoudemire said, "If I'm still a Sun after (today), I'm not sure what the future holds. We just have got to patiently wait, I guess."

Anyone think the ole "clevland wasnt offering Hickson" is spin by the the turd twins?
"Mannnnn I’m like the guy that pissed this whole board off saying literally all year no Mikal, no Mikal in the KD trade."

Portland got better. They'll be in the playoffs. Houston got better and we'll be battling them for the 8th seed... If we miss the playoffs and Amare walks this franchise will crumble.

Since we are keeping Amare, I thought I would add this in the Trade talk thread.
McGrady Hopes To Sign With Cavs Or Lakers If Waived

Can either team still sign him? Aren't both teams way over the cap and tax?

I don't think he will be waived because of the amount SAC would need.

He'd probably sign for the minimum, since the Lakers are lucky **** who keep on getting players falling into their laps.

This franchise has been in a hell the way they handled Amare. They could have gotten good assets had they signed Amare to an extension somebody else would give him in FA. But they thought the fans were right and wouldn't offer more than what 14 mil a year?

Don't blame the Suns. Blame the internet. 20 years ago you and Amare would never have got word of what might be going down. A sports writer might have devoted one sentence to it in passing on page 20.

Still not over IMO.
There would be ALOT of pressure on Riles considering Wade was injured and could miss weeks....but yeah had fun throughout this drama. 7 threads. smh.

If Riley wanted to hook up Wade with Amare then it would already been done.
He is just hoping there will be something he can sign over the summer that will matter more. There won't be.

More details:
Despite talk of Hickson being a Stoudemire replacement, the Suns had other plans with a move in the works to send Cleveland center Zydrunas Ilgauskas to Utah in a three-way deal that might have given the Suns a star power forward in Carlos Boozer.
