There are actually a number of very credible Cavs reporters and insiders (Windhorst is amazing, a couple guys on realcavsfans.com are true insiders, etc.), and he is not one of them at all. He even said Lebron would re-sign with the Cavs for 3 years, and then go elsewhere. How much sense does it make for Lebron to decide to re-sign with the Cavs and ALSO already decide he'll re-sign elsewhere after that? What if the Cavs win 2-3 championships before that next contract? Makes zero sense.

Windhorst, however, has been reporting that he has become more confident than ever that Lebron will re-sign with the Cavs this summer. As a Cavs fan, I'm ecstatic to hear that because Windhorst truly does have great sources (unlike Triv), and does not produce junk just to get attention or make Cavs fans feel secure (unlike Triv). In fact, Windhorst is known to be somewhat of a pessimist at times (although I see him as being a realist).

Having said that, I do think your Knicks have a wonderful chance at getting a great player or two. While I think it's very unlikely Lebron will be a Knick (you're entitled to just think I'm a homer), you will surely have a very good team for the 2010-2011 season. And of course nothing is official until Lebron signs a contract, and the Knicks certainly still have a shot (unlike the other 28 teams I'd say).

That's fair.

This is that fool that read off those sponsors at the beginning of that radio show and sounded like an idiot.

I'm really ashamed in some of you for believing this radio host n his 'credible' source. As NY fans I'd expect you guys to understand the media a lil better than what you've just displayed.

Yeah looks dumber than he sounds too. I wonder how someone that talks like that has a job anywhere in the radio field.

I figured this was a Cleveland sports radio guy that said this about LeBron re-signing so I assumed at first he was a somewhat credible source. After listening to him it seemed like he was just a regular talk radio guy. I'm not from Cleveland obviously so I don't know anything about this dude but he sounded like an arrogant/ignorant guy to me. I still don't think LeBron is coming to NY anyway so this is just BLAH news to me.

Are you serious? Cavfanatic is the best board

Most Cavs fans do not post on Real GM because of all the trolls and LeBron bashing. What a joke that Triv's comments made the wiretap. LeBron will likely resign with the Cavs but Triv is the last person that will know this kind of info.

Damn. I can picture you all suicidal on the day LeBron re-signs. I sure do hope you don't go off the deep end if that's the case.

As a Knick fan, I want LeBron to come here but it's looking more and more unlikely by the day.

Fair enough. But how likely or unlikely would it look the day the Magic beat them in the playoffs again?
