He got hit, he moved then blacked out, but you can see him collapse instantly after his neck his durants stomach or hip.

Losing consciousness isn't always instant. And we don't even know what caused it. Many people think it could be fatigue, and it would make sense considering he's been dealing with fatigue for over a month now.

http://blogs.denverpost.com/nuggets/201 ... h-fatigue/

That's from a month ago. They're STILL giving him IV's during half time during games to deal with it.

Dantley claims he called for a time out but the refs didnt hear it. JR Smith has always been pretty stupid.

Looks like he got hit on the side of the head. Like someone said he may have hit durants hip. Bone to temple could lead to sudden blackout. Also nerve compression could lead to blackout. I do agree they shouldn't have let him back on the court though, because they couldn't have known what caused him to back out. My only guess is that, at the moment Carmello had no idea what happened and didn't realized he blacked out till later.

there is no way he could have blacked out since there is no thing as blacked out....its a myth anyways. the only conclusion i can come up with is that he was faking it for a whole 1 minute so the refs end up looking a little bad.

With as many knuckleheads as that Nuggets team has, it's astounding they're able to be so successful. Any team without a strict coach like Karl and a strong leader like Billups would be killing itself from the inside out with the likes of JR Smith, Kenyon Martin and Chris Anderson on the same squad.

Yeah I saw this on TV.. I don't think he was faking. I was seriously disgusted that they'd keep playing. Like come on the man is on the ground hurt or not. Why take a risk. That's disgusting.

LOL @ Thunder fans.

You really think that fall would be fake because:

- Denver wouldn't risk putting out a 100 million dollar investment if he had a neurological problem?

Are you **** serious? It was a light blackout. There's a level or severity in everything, this was a very minor concussion-esque effect. This is easily recoverable. Have you ever watched any fighting sport? This happens ALL the time.

Do you REALLY believe this type of collision is going to instill life-long neurological problems, when boxers go through punches in the head for careers of 8-10 years and still more than often not have any neurological problem?

Stupid and **** idiotic way to prove your worthless opinion.

- He was whining and complaining the entire game, so what better way to prove a point?

You've got to be (Please Use More Appropriate Word), or just a Thunders fan to believe & see that. Check his neck, and check Durant's hip at the initial point of collision. You got that?

Now look at Carmelo's face. You think that's fake? At the earliest on-set of the collision, Carmelo showed pain.

Thunder fans are only 2nd to Bucks fan in extreme homerism/overrated-ness. I'm happy to know both aren't coming close to winning a championship, or probably a playoff series. Their fans can enjoy the next 4 weeks, but that's all there is to it.

JR Smith is the biggest jack 4$$ in the NBA

LOL at 3 secs One of the best one liners ever

Glad Melo is OK. He is a tough dude. I really didnt like Melo when he first came up, after bringing pot to the airport, tossing his Olympic medal in a lake, being a wussy in NY and the DUI; but now I like the guy. It helps to grow up and stop doing all that stuff.

I still don't see how people can argue he's faking it when he didn't flinch when 200+ lbs men jumping near his head. If he was faking it, he got balls and deserve an oscar.

i don't think he was faking it, but LOL @ people saying being knocked out isn't serious because you went back into your little league baseball game or away from your drunken brawl after it. That's because you are worthless, and no one gives a crap if you get brain damage. Melo's worth tens of millions of dollars, and he has a team of doctors dedicated to protecting him from any injury.

The OKC announcers brought it up again during the game tonight. They were talking about fining players for flopping. One of the guys said he "wouldn't be against it after the stunt Carmelo Anthony pulled the other night."

Just simply classless... I was shocked when I heard him say that.

This is absolutely hilarious!
I love how JR Smith tries to take advantage of the disadvantage.
Then got frustrated at Melo for making him travel.
