Why don't the Suns play that kind of trapping D every night? They're a lot more dangerous when they try

I don't see the Suns losing this. Blazers won game 1 thanks to Andre Miller going apesh*t, I doubt something like that happens again.

So Miller getting to the basket is unlikely, which is how Portland won game 1, but Richardson and Hill combining to shoot 78%! to combine for 49 points, which is primarily how PHX won game 2, isn't unlikely?

Out of two guys shooting 78%, or one guy doing what he's done his whole career, which is get into the paint and make things happen, which of those is more unlikely?

It's amazing to me how everyone paints game one as a miraacle that Portland won, made possible only because of Miller "going ****", yet game 2, with Hill and Richardson hardly missing a shot was somehow business as usual. Both teams had something out of the ordinary happen for them to win a game. I like the chances of Miller getting into the paint and to the line, and Portland making adjustments to PHX's defensive scheme more than relying on shooting 78% from my two highest scorers to win.

Ya, you didn't get the memo?

The Suns are a better team, they will probably prevail.

This, as already talked about before, is a stupid argument. While two players had great nights, the team as a whole shot just a bit above average. The Suns certainly don't need Hill and Richardson to be THAT good offensively in order to win. It's much easier to make an argument that the Blazers need Miller to penetrate. That's not to say the Suns will be able to slow him down the way they did on Tuesday, but rather that an argument that the Suns somehow need Hill/Richardson to shoot 78% is dumb.

I will answer your quote with another quote i found.

Azsports77 wrote:This is Andre Miller's playoffs record with all the teams he has played for in the NBA :
In 2005 Andre Miller played for Denver vs San Antonio in the playoffs, won game 1, lost series 1-4

In 2008, Andre Miller played for Philadelphia vs Detroit in the playoffs, won game 1, lost series 2-4

In 2009, Andre Miller played for Philadelphia vs Orlando in the playoffs, won game 1, lost series 2-4

All of these series were first round match-ups, and Miller's team was the 6th or 7th seed in all of them. No series even went to 7.

In 2010, Andre Miller plays for Portland vs Phoenix in the playoffs, won game 1, fill in the blank.
Hilarious seems like every team has had a problem with him and after one adjustment neutralized him the Game 3 will be very interesting indeed! Both teams will be ready this time so the game should be the best out of the last two that were played.

So im hoping your "Career" guy continues playing like he has his whole career!

Why pick Fernandez anyway?

Amundson/Dragic >>> Mills/Pendergraph. Suck it, Blazers!

If Portland can get to a game six in the RG, leading the series 3-2, look for
Brandon Roy to be available to play. The key will be games three and four
for the Portland crowd in the RG is going to be really loud and it might be
tough for the Sun to win more than one game.

I've always thought the series would go to six or seven games and if Roy is
effective and ready to play, winning a game six in Portland with the return
of Roy might be really tough for Phoenix as the Lakers have discovered
the past five seasons.

why you talking ****?

how many games did Amare miss last season and you guys missed the playoffs? took only one guy to get injured and your team went downhill.

we got no roy, oden or pryz for playoffs, our players miss 300+ games and we still going to put up a fight in this series.
