No it isn't. Because had Paxson not wrongly charged into the coach's office in a moment of high tension, none of the rest of it would have happened.

You can rewind this further. If Del Negro didn't break the minutes rule, then Paxson wouldn't have barged in.

Paxson yelling at someone is poor taste. He's Vinny's boss though, so it's allowed. It's excusable.

something tells me Vinny would like some time off and would like to see Derrick/Noah do well. But at the same time he'd like to see GarPax fail miserably. You know he'll be watching them and will take a shot or 2 later on. Maybe his next press conference when he gets another job.

in the end it was nice to see an amicable break-up. they both got their belongings, no cops were sent or restraining orders filed. Pax got the trailer and Vinny got the pickup.

See, when I say "Pax started it" I'm not talking about the full confrontation, I'm talking about the physical part. I think Pax was the one who elevated it by going physical first. I don't know if that makes a difference, but to me the whole thing "starts" when someone makes the first punch/shove/whatever. From what I gather, I think Pax started the physical confrontation and if he hadn't, I don't think he would have been so contrite (as opposed to if he punched back in self-defense).

In other words, you are imposing your own narrow definition onto someone else and then making a definitive judgment about what happened with no actual evidence one way or another. Sounds reasonable.

With your line of thought, people should never be able to draw conclusions and infer things or events.

I guess if you feel comfortable in waiting to be fully informed before generating an opinion, then good for you.

calm down, ok? homosapien heard about this incident about 2-3 weeks before this story dropped and hinted as much to us. I can go back and find the post where he noted that his source had revealed to him something pretty huge inside the locker room, that if he told here would probably send people into a frenzy, but he couldn't do it for fear of repercussions. 2-3 weeks later, we did indeed learn of what had happened.
