Hedo Turkoglu / Antoine Wright
Chris Bosh / Amir Johnson
Emeka Okafor / Hassan Whiteside

Spend MLE on Antonio McDyess, Stephen Graham and a third SG.

Where's Weems? He has an 850k team option, why not do that instead of resigning a more expensive Wright who is less effective than Weems?

Also can we trade Hedo for anyone? Someone with a terrible contract? Chris paul and Hedo both need the ball to be effective. While I like Paul + Gordon Hedo ruins it.

How are you sure NO will do that trade? It seems a little lackluster for them.

Yeah, completely forgot Weems. He'll replace Wright.

As to New Orleans, they are in luxury tax hell, with a team going nowhere fast. They want to get rid of Okafor badly, and the price to pay is either Chris Paul or Collison. We take on 2 huge contracts and give them expirings, a youngster, Bargnani and a pick (or 2 if necessary). The problem is, the minute they put Paul on the market, better deals from other teams will be made. But, we can always dream.

As for Detroit, they need a PG. Stuckey didn't work out + they want to get rid of one or more of Hamilton/Prince/Villanueva/Gordon. Make your pick.

Probable? No. But, I forgot what this thread was about.

Why would DET do Gordon for Calderon, make no sense if you ask me. Hamilton for Calderon maybe but Gordon?

Also NOH was just bought by a very rich owner so i doubt they trade Paul to save cap, and in that case their are much better offers. You dont even give them #13 :P

Banks, Evans, and Bargs for Okafor, Posey, and Collison.

The raps get a decent defensive center, who can compliment Bosh. Collison can turn into an all star and posey can be a decent leader plus bench player.

The hornets get a decent offensive center/power forward at a better contract than Okafor and two expirings in Evans and Posey.

Seems pretty fair.

next

Calderon for Ben Gordon.

Toronto moves Caldy to make space for Collison and get excellent offensive 6th man to lead the bench.

Detroit takes on less salary and one less year while getting a true point guard to move Stuckey to the 2.

We then draft Paul George, re-sign Amir, re-sign Rasho, sign Kwame Brown

PG - Collison, Jack, vet min
SG - Derozan, Gordon, Posey, Beli
SF - Hedo, Weems, Posey, George
PF - Bosh, Amir, Dorsey
C - Okafor, Kwame, Rasho

Team seems more balanced on offense and defense.

i keep seeing Calderon for Gordon, someone tell me why Detroit does it?

Ben Gordon $10,800,000 $11,600,000 $12,400,000 $13,200,000
vs
Jose Calderon $9,000,000 $9,780,992 $10,561,983

sure they save money but Gordon is by far the better player. A more interesting deal would be (and more fair BTW)

Calderon for Hamilton (same contract length, Hamilton makes a bit more)

or

Banks + Evans + #13 + Cash for Hamilton + #7

You think they'd do a pick swap to move down 6 spots to get out of Hamilton's contract? That would be really good for us.

heres what i think makes sense/hope it happens

* only if Pattrick Patterson is there with our pick for NJ and NJ gets Wall

To TOR: Diop + Harris
To CHA: Calderon
To NJ: Evans + Ajinca + # 13

Wall/Bradly (#31)/Dooling
Lee/CDR
Gay/Williams
Patterson/Yi/Humphries
Lopez/Sanders/Ajinca

* then i buy a pick draft Solomon Alabi
* Sign Ronny Brewer for MLE

Harris / Jack / Banks
Derozan / Brewer / Belinelli
Turkaglu / Weems
Bosh / Johnson / Dorsey
Bargnani / Alabi / Diop

= 4 new players. If you dont get Brewer go after Raja Bell

Brewer is our defensive stopper. Harris also has been known for his defense and think fits with Hedo better.

That would be awful....and barely if any improvement from last year.

How would that minor move convince Bosh to stay?

Realistically Bosh must know the dynamic with Bargnani does NOT work and won't take anything serious until he's shipped maybe.....Calderon + Bargnani + pick for Arenas + Blatche

I'm not saying that move would get him to stay but I rather have those 2 then the Euro-soft stuff we have.

Although Blatche has proven to be quite soft and both are head cases. The raptors take over losing problematic players.

Pretty sure Gordon has fallen out of favor with the Pistons already. Why they do it? cause Calderon is owed less money and has 1 less year on the contract.. I wouldn't mind trading Calderon plus filler for Gordon. He will shore up our offensive 2 guard position. I rather much have Gordon than Hamiliton

As long as there's no picks or really bad contracts involved, I'd consider a Jose/Gordon swap. Although if you think about it, given how bad Gordon was this year, the fact that he's owed a lot more money, AND that Jose is just over a year older than him (I'm not sure why, I thought Ben was younger than he is)... it doesn't seem like much of an improvement at all from the Raps perspective.

Gordon Would be a good pick up. After the cavs got eliminated its looking likely that Bron leaves. Chicago looks to be the perfect destination. He can then emulate his idol in a championship city. Wow perfect fit. This is how it might play out...

LeBron heads to chicago
+
Deng & fillers/picks head to e cavs

Bosh heads to chicago

Noah & fillers/pick head to Toronto

Calderon heads to Det

Gordon heads to Tor

The last piece we need is collison... n how do we get him exactly????

Noah
Bargs
Turk
Gordon
Collison

Datz a sick team... agree?

Trade Checker: #5518855

Toronto trades: Jose Calderon and Marco Ben.
Detroit trades: Ben Gordon

Reason: Like the 4 spot, Jose or Jack have to go. I personally think it is better to keep Jack, since he is cheaper and has shown leadership and actually plays like he cares. He also attacks the rim more. Ben Gordon is one of the few SG in the league that can create his own shot, which is something the Raps have been lacking (I don't think Derozan or Weems will ever make that level). This also frees up Turk to become another facilitator, and hopefully get his game back. Pistons will do this because they want to develop Stuckey and need a true PG to pass the pall around, and Jose is good at that. Plus Jose earns less money and has 1 yr less on contract.

i could see that.

- follow with

Jack + #13 for Collison + J.Wright

Bosh for Bynum + Farmar (S&T)

Collison/Farmar/Banks
Derozan/Gordon
Turkaglu/Weems/J.Wright
Bargnani/Evans/Dorsey
Bynum/Johnson

= 5 new players :). Lets get this done.

really depends what's happening with Bosh. If we're getting Bynum back in a Bosh s&t taking on Brand would be pretty bad unless we're shipping out Bargs...it's just way too much money for our bigs ($36 million I think?) I'm not that high on Wes Johnson, Aldrich, or Aminu

What is the point of bringing in Brand if we're planning to resign Amir? Either way he wouldn't be our starting PF and that would piss him off and he'd suck.

I don't think Hornets want that. Should throw in Evans for Posey to give them more incentive

and sign Joel Anthony to the MLE....

Collison/Gordon/Banks (Farmer sux, Gordon can play PG with Turk on the floor.)
DeRozan/Gordon/Weems
Turk/Posey
Bargnani/Johnson
Bynum/Anthony
