Most draft sites have Favors over Cousins. Most fans have Cousins over Favors.

Not stacked from 5 to 8 or 4 to 9... I think we're gonna see some early surprises with those picks, some guys projected to go in the mid to late will be taken high.

Also, it's interesting to see how some fans compare Johnson to Thaddeus because Thaddeus was drafted almost in the middle of first round while Johnson's been projected to go from 4th to 6th while many thinks that Thaddeus is better including me. However, Johnson's help defense is superb and that's probably whyhis stack is higher.

Johnson is also alot better shooter than Young, but the thing that i dont like with Johnson is his age. Thad and Aminu is a good comparison as well..

I think Aminu is a much closer comparison to Young, not sure what those fans are thinking.

This is a deep draft, not a top heavy draft.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

I do not think it is particularly top heavy. There is a large drop off after the big 2.

It's a deep draft, not one of my favorites since some of the top guys lack championship caliber but still good nonetheless.

no. Even the top guys aren't for sure can't miss. the level of talent is very similar from outside the top 3 all the way through the mid first. The difference between those guys is opinion mostly.

Overall, this draft is pretty weak I'd say, but maybe that's because for the past few years it has been real over hyped.

Wes Johnson is the prime example. He's projected to go high even though he looks like a good role player more so than a future star. How many wings who can't dribble or create their own shot while still being stuck between 2 positions go that high? Especially ones who are already 23. He looks like a Travis Outlaw type player(smaller though)

Agreed, excellent top 2, solid top 4, and very good depth (especially for big men), but there's not a massive difference between, say, the 5th pick and the 10th pick.

IMO the big drop off starts around 11 or 12.

I dont see how there is any drop off at all. there are 35 guys can could be top 15-20 picks. The any guy in the top 4 would be top 5 pick in pretty much any past draft.

I think there's a drop after the first 8, then 9-15 are close. Then it's like 16-33/34. There should be a lot of value at the end of the first/top of the 2nd.

Luke Babbitt seems high. Larry Sanders's potential has to be more enticing than Babbitt's right?

luke babbit is at 25 on draft express

also i think wes johnson is danny granger 2.0...both were quite old when they were drafted, although granger was taken quite a bit later

it's unlikely Johnson will be the scorer Granger is... maybe he'll be what Granger was before he started scoring

Well the Sixers are looking to get Turner somehow. Either winning the lottery #2 spot, or trading up. But if they can't get him, they will trade their #6 pick plus a player for a vet SG...
