ahh come on coolio, she didnt deserve to win. parv should have won. im getting tired of the jury making their votes based on being mad they were voted off and therefore turning to the one person left who had the least to do with their dismisal. thats just sour grapes.

sandra only won because people were casting votes against russell, who i agree should not have won due to the way he blatantly disregarded the jury portion of the game... again.

russell was a moron for bring sandra. he should have known half the jury would have been sympathetic towards her.

I thought Sandra deserved to win. She played a smart game but going head to head with Russell making her look like the easy choice.

Her whole game plan from the merge on was to try and call Russell out - which she did to everyone and to his face.

That was enough to get her over the line.

I like Russell, but that kid lives in a world created in his mind known only as Planet Russell. He's wayyyyyyyy out there.

What's the bet the next special will be Team Rob Vs Team Russell and each guy will get to hand pick and lead their team against the other guy TUF style?

It's a reality based mixed martial arts show.

Does this "Bill Simmons Book" have a title? If I go to look for it in the bookstore someday that may be useful....

^^^ what walt said

bill simmons "book of basketball"

its basically about the history of the nba... more or less simmons discussing players, eras and the last half is his "hall of fame" where he ranks the 96 best players in the history of the league from 96 to 1 with a chapter about each player. the book is littered with hilarious stories and footnotes.

he apparently researched the book for 2 years. basically reading every single basketball book, autobiography and biography ever written about the ABB/NBA and the players and watching probably 100s to 1000s of games. plus, he's been a celtics season ticker holder since 1976.

sure there is some celtics bias in the book, but for the most part he does a great job of painting every side of the great players in the era, pointing out their strengths and weaknesses and of course being funny.

it basically like some grad student at harvard doing a 700 masters thesis on the history of the league. they guy did a ton of research. i have so much more respect for simmons after reading the book. he always made me laugh, but hes boston bias and anti bobcats kinda made me made recently, but i have a better understanding of where he is coming from now.

I'm still in Vegas but when I get back I'll explain why Sandra was the best player this season. I do think Paverti, who was great last final tribal where she won, really screwed up and cost her the game with her jury performance. Sandra was just money at the jury, as she was in Pearl Islands (although Lil was unfairly judged.)

Russell had no chance with the way he insulted every person he voted out. His social game is really, really poor.
