from Phillys top insider :(

They will look to move Thad and/or speights this offseason.

Iguodala will stay and play the 3.

Just got off the phone with my buddy.....the brass is ecstatic...they LOVE turner.

:(

just give us Iguodala i say, we let you have him the 1st time and your franchise was saved when you got Turner now just save our franchise i think its a fair trade off.

with Minny most definitely picking a big in the draft (Favors or Cousins), I hope BC can some how trade for Kevin Love.

This guy is pound for pound on of the best pure rebounders in the league. He would look good in the paint for us.

I would move expirings + 13th for Love in a heartbeat.

If we can't get an all-star player and Bosh resigning, can we just rebuild after 1 more year of failure? Like 20-25 games?

i was thinking of Josh Smith with them dumping the contract of Bibby also. Might be a bit of a pipe dream but smith could be a great SF/PF for this team. I just look around the league at the teams that "need" a PG

i see

New York: Nothing
Los Angeles: Nothing
Miami: #18? But then wont Bosh want to go to Miami more?
Indiana: Been there
Charlotte: no picks for a while, DJ, Henderson dont really add anything we dont already have.
Memphis: Is conley the future?
Atlanta: Need one badly

So i look at that and say hell their arent that many options for a PG out there. Atlanta though does need one. Hell #13 could move Horford to PF and allow them to get a C with that. Or take Henry (to replace Johnson) and draft Alabi with #24. I might be overvaluing here but i think it could be interesting.

I Really like Love's game too, but where would he fit in? With Bargs and Love up front....that would be disastrous. Unless we Swap Bargs for Love + J Flinn or Rubio?, they have similar games both can shoot the three, but Love doubles Bargs rebounds

So now that Wall is gonna be in Washington, anyone thing we can try to go after Arenas. I mean the guy probably wants to redeem himself in the NBA and it's also because of the fact that other team in the NBA wouldn't gamble on him, that the Raptors can get him.

Probably not worth it. First, it would have to be Hedo+Jose going out. But the problem is Arenas is just about untradeable, so unless he is going to be a consistent producer (highly, highly unlikely)... we're just getting stuck with a worse, untradeable contract.

I would rather take my chances with one Arenas contract who in my opinion has a 10x better chance of producing next year the numbers he is capable of producing than those bums turk and jose.

I honestly see an opportunity here because Arenas' trade value has gone down because of the scandal, but I don't necessarily think his actual game has gone down that much. He plays 1 good year in TO and his trade value will rise through the roof in comparison to what we get him for now.

Arenas was producing well this season and there haven't been any mentions of the injury bug. Unlike Turkoglu, Arenas has a few good years left in him and will not decline and be as useful as a thrash can. Turkoglu plus expirings should get us Arenas+McGee and Young. They were rumoured as offering McGee for someone to take Arenas and Young is a throw in at this point.

However the focus should be shifted to Andre Iguodala imo, who is even more available now. Equally as important is trading one of Turkoglu or Calderon, maybe for a guy like Marvin Williams or Ben Gordon.

what about this..

To TOR: Pachulia + Bynum + Sasha
To LAL: Bosh + Bibby
To ATL: Calderon

ATL upgrades the point while also saving 3.5 million so they could retain Johnson while not going over the luxury tax.

TOR gets rid of Calderon, gets a backup C in Pachulia

LAL gets their PG + Bosh.

Jarret Jack / Avery Bradly / Marcus Banks
Demar Derozan / Marco Belinelli / Sasha Vujacic
Hedo Turkoglu / Sonny Weems
Andrea Bargnani / Amir Johnson / Reggie Evans
Andrew Bynum / Zaza Pachulia / Joey Dorsey

I'd try to grab Marvin if it were possible instead of Pachulia... and I actually think LA might prefer Jose to Bibby.

Not sure Miami bites on a Jose deal unless if it's completely cap neutral (meaning they'd have to send out more than Cook+Jones.

As a side thought, do you think there's any way we could get one or more of Memphis' picks? (esp #12, but I'm thinking even potentially all 3?) I don't know if there's any deals that could accomplish this without Bosh, #13, or DD, but if there were it would give us an incredible amount of flexibility.
Packaging #12+#13, we could move up into the high lotto. We could also look to trade down with one (or both) of the picks, securing multiple picks from Minny or OKC, or some sort of picks/prospects deal from another team. Knowing BC it's probably too far-fetched (and something Kahn or Pritchard would be more likely to do), but if we really committed to it, we could walk out with anywhere from 2-5 1st round picks in this draft, and following a Bosh deal, we would be well on our way to rebuilding our team properly.

Perhaps Miami will be willing to send Beasley+Cook/Jones for Calderon. There were rumblings that they might dump him for a TE, maybe they will find a PG more valuable.

On the Portland board, Salem Stoner suggested a 3 team deal involving Toronto, Portland and the Nets. Essentially, Portland gets Bosh, NJ gets Aldridge and Toronto gets the #3 pick, Przybilla, Rudy, probably a little more filler, etc (or something along those lines).
