Karl Malone was the hardest working player ever, was super athletic at beginning of his career. The Karl Malone comparison that Griffin got last year was fine, but Cousins isn't similar at all.

Cousins plays more like Al Jefferson with Love's rebounding tenacity. Cousins can be better than Al jeff, it depends on how far he wants to go. I see no reason he won't put up Al Jeff numbers. Both players live in the post, refuse to pass out of double teams, go-to scorer mentality, middling athleticism, more agile than explosive.

LOL, Cousins is twice the willing passer Jefferson is/was.

I still don't understand why people are comparing Cousins' rebounding with Love's I actually find it fairly insulting to be honest.

Top 5 Center in the NBA.

Howard
Bogut
Lopez
Horford/Bynum
Cousins.

That good.

In fact with the measurables he has he could be top 3. It's all in how hard he works.

I see no reason why he couldn't be the best. He's only shortter then Lopez and Bynum there. Plus if he hits the weights, we could be looking at someone 290 pounds with an okay handle. He has a higher standing reach and better wingspan than Howard. I want him on the Wolves alot now that we missed on Turner.

Lol, I'd like to hear the answer, too. They're both terrific rebounders.

I bet Cousins get's picked 4th. I think Nets go with a more traditional PF to slot next to Lopez. I agree that the Wolves probably want to shake things up down low. I think they should look first to unload Al Jefferson. Love isn't untouchable, but should be getting more back.

I doubt he'd fall past the Kings if he did free-fall. Definitely would not make it past the Warriors.

Kaman is not a 20/10 player and never has been.

Hey now let's not get too crazy. There's a big difference from top 5 and #1.

Dwight Howard not only has length he has athleticism. DeMarcus Cousins is a pretty good athlete but there is no way do I see him testing out to be as good of an athlete as Dwight Howard.

But the more I think about it the more I say top 3-5 is definitely within his potential which is downright scary.

Heck because of the gap after Dwight maybe he could challenge for #2

I have a feeling there will be a lot of jokes about this kid's weight for quite some time. Hopefully he can shed that label (and a few lbs in the process)

2005 Shaq would be a top 2 Center in the league now.

So that's pretty high praise

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.
