Thad Young and Lou Williams for the 8th pick?

Sixers get another pick to go after a center, reduce salary

Clippers add 2 youngsters to the team.. Young is likely better than any 3-man that would be on board at 8 and Lou gives you guys a young guard behind Baron/6th man.

(based on the other Sixers posts in here, I assume this won't get good reviews)

Will Chandler, Toney Douglas, $3million cash
for
#8, #53?

Get a young 3 and a nice backup guard, while still maintaining enough cap space to offer a max deal.

Chandler's a scorer who won't play much defense. So he's Al Thornton with less post game but a better shot.
Toney Douglas is alright, but nothing special.

I wouldn't give away a top ten pick for that package and i doubt the Clippers would ever consider it.

BTW: As far as those Sixers deals go. The only way i'd trade them our pick is if it either nets us their first round pick or Igoudala.

^I would also say no to both the Sixers and Knicks deals. The 8th pick and our cap space are worth more than that.

My offer to the Nets is #8 for Terrance Williams/2012 First from GSW

How about we trade Kaman, #8, and #54 to Detroit for Prince, #7, and #36?

I'm assuming we won't be able to sign any significant FAs so we do this trade and select a C/PF at #7 like Monroe or Aldrich and at #36, we can get the BPA. I'm hoping Greivis Vasquez. He's 6'6" and can play both PG/SG. He's also an emotional player that can bring energy off the bench.

Then, we resign Blake, Outlaw, Smith, and Gooden.

PG - Baron/Blake
SG - Gordon/Vasquez
SF - Prince/Outlaw
PF - Griffin/Smith/Gooden
C - Jordan/Aldrich/Sofo

This will leave us 3 roster spots. Depending on how much cap space we have left, we can sign Nate Robinson (instant offense, 3rd PG), Hakim Warrick (SF/PF), and Channing Frye (PF/C that can shoot 3s).

Another option is if we can work a sign and trade. Kaman and #8 for Bosh.

Clippers send the 8th pick

76ers send the 2nd pick and Brand.

I know Brand back to Clippers sounds kinda crazy but hey, he is still one of the best players in team's history. If there is one team that can restore Brand's career that is LAC.

Who is this Brand guy? I don't know anybody named Brand who used to be on the Clippers. Unless you're talking about Judas Brand. He'll never be back, ever.

Chandler is a 2 way player who plays good(not great) D, and has guarded SG,SF and PF for us. But yeah, fair enough if you can get a better package.

I have been thinking about this type of deal, and I would probably be fine with a Baron for Miller/Webster/#22 swap. Then ship Miller to IND for Foster.

Salaries don't match. And even if they did, I wouldn't. Turkeyglue, as you call him, has negative value and you could argue the same for Jose and Bargs, given their contract length and numbers.

Who is DA? Also we have the #8 pick, not #9. Anyways, there is no way we touch any of the Raptors awful contracts.

Salaries don't come close to matching, let alone you threw in 2 bad contracts + an overrated waste of 7 feet for a young big with a super cheap contract and a higher draft pick.

Toronto's gonna have a hell of a time moving turk; Calderon might still be salvageable/tradable (if he learns to play better defense) but I think you're stuck with Turk for a long time. And barg is just trash; Hes eddie curry if eddie curry jacked up 3's as well.

1. Draft best player available (could be Greg Monroe or Patrick Patterson)

2. Trade next years 1st round pick for Rudy Gay (sign and trade) 5 years/ 60 million

Starting Five:

PF-Griffin 12ppg/11rpg/1bpg
SF-Gay 20ppg/6rpg/38% threes
C-Kaman 18ppg/9rpg/2bpg
PG-Davis 15ppg/8apg/2spg
SG-Gordan 17ppg/4rpg/38%threes

Guys, would you be interested in a Andre Iguodala for Chris Kaman trade?

I just think that a facilitator like Iggy would be a great fit with a team like yours where you have pretty good scorers/shooters in both Baron Davis and Eric Gordon.

Clippers:
Baron Davis
Eric Gordon
Andre Iguodala
Blake Griffin
DeAndre Jordan/Greg Monroe

I don't see us trading Kaman for Iggy, now that Kaman's played pretty good last season.
Though, we could offer you some cap relief and a pick for Iggy, if that's something you'd consider.
