I guess it's more of when they missed that I remember most... Not so much the Percentage.

Sasha is the only one who ever came through for us when we needed him. :-?

But I like Miller... He's scary good when I've seen him and if he could play a Ray Allen kind of role for us even off the bench, that would be pretty devastating.

Agreed. I started convincing myself that Redick and Miller (in that order) were our best choices at the beginning of this past season. Now that Miller has made that comment I'm definitely more excited than ever. I thought maybe that whole incident with him and Kobe a few years ago might kill the chances of it happening, so I kind of focused more on Redick. With Miller's comments, Redick is an afterthought at this point.

We are fortunate that the economy is what it as (from a Lakers fan POV) and that the lockout looms, because I don't see any of the teams with cap space having any interest in Miller. I think he's essentially ours if we want him.

i don't think the incident will be such a big issue if Miller has expressed that he has interest in the Lakers. I mean before this season some people thought Ron was going to kill Kobe during practice. Kobe and Miller are grown ass men and I think they will put anything from the past aside in order to keep winning rings.

As far as I see I think an overwhelming majority of us are for Mike Miller. I think thats pretty awesome seeing how that rarely happens when it comes to player signings.

Plus, he's a pretty far cry from Sasha in that he's been a legitimate starter in this league for nearly a decade. Sign him, and we'd never have to play Luke Walton again.

+1 especially on the you can never have too much 3 point shooting. Imagine it raining 3s the way the Suns bench does.

Sign me up for this bandwagon too!

LA could go big with Kobe on point (like against Rondo),
Miller/Ron at wings
Odom at 4 (and bringing the ball up to save Kobe, then crashing board)
Pau or Byn at C.

Miller basically takes Fishers role in that triangle set raining 3s or driving when they overplay (like Fishh sometimes does - but MM is a way better finisher).

Rice, Sasha, Radman, Ammo, just off the top of my head...

Wouldn't it suck if we brought him in and he forgot how to shoot....

Most people forgot the Mitch Richmond played for the Lakers, too.

Norm and Money were just talking about next year and additions. They commented on Shawn Linvingston playing well for the Zards at the end of the year.

Anyone see him play? I know didnt, watch many Zards games last year.

Just looking at the numbers -- I didn't see him play -- he wasn't bad: 9 point, 4.4 assists per game in about 29 minutes per. One thing that jumps out -- he's got zero shooting range. That said, we could probably do a hell of a lot worse in terms of a platoon PG.

That said, I'd take Miller over him in a heartbeat. Hands down, no questions asked.

Miller would be great. I didn't watch him this season with the Wizards, but I watched all of last season with the Wolves and he provides more than you think. At the start he was on fire with his shooting, but something happened (I think injury) and he lost his shot, but anyways he pretty much did everything else - slashed to the basket, distributed the ball, rebounded very well, and led the squad. So just know he brings more than just shooting.

I forget who on our board is pretty high on him. but they would know for sure. From what I read he played very well at the end of the season and took the starting spot from Foye. If you look at box scores for his games towards the end of the season hes got a couple of solid games.

Scroll down and look at his numbers for April. Pretty good.

That Boston Game stands out.

25/7/5 on 70-% shooting. Also noticed the 6 TO's.

Yeah maybe if he were to come here those turnovers would go down a bit. He would have more options to work with in LA so that could help.

I was impressed with livingston when he played against us. if we can get him for 1-2 million I'm cool with it. his weakness is threepoint shooting though

Good player who may fit in the Triangle. But I don't think he should get the MLE. It'd be an insult to sign or re-sign anybody this offseason for more than Fish. Especially as expendable as the 3 is on this team. Reward the guys who helped put us over the top, first. Give the ring chasers the scrap offers.

See I don't think you can go about thinking that. I think as a true vet Derek Fisher understands what it takes to win championships and I think he won't be looking for big money. I also don't think a guy like Mike Miller is a ring chaser and he understands that a guy with his skill set is someone championship teams look for. Now T Mac on the other hand I can see why people might call him a ring chaser.
