I love this post. very true. But I for one know that I would picket outside of ACC if this deal goes down. Fernandez would make this team so redundant with what he brings to the game.

If some of the same players we are targetting at 13 are still there at 22 then I don't see the problem. Basically we'll be getting Rudy for free.

E.g. It looks like we are interested in Aldrich and apparently the Blazers are too (not positive but, it was mentioned earlier in the thread). If Bradley is still around at 22, pull the trigger. If not, hold onto Aldrich. Simple, no?

rudy is just more of the same **** bc keeps bringing in. he could be a key piece, just like hedo, or hell, even kapono.. but not on any of the teams he has put together here in toronto

Marco would almost certainly have to go to Portland in the trade. And aside from, Weels and DeRozan, who do we have in the wing? Wright is gone, Turk should be gone. If Weems and DeRozan play 30 minutes each, that still leaves 36 mpg.

And can you play two crappy three point shooters together? DD and Sonny can't hit the broad side of a three point barn, and that is a problem!

danny callahan, me bi polar? Hardly... however i have realistic expectations regarding trades and dont expect ridiculous things like other people on this board. My point is, some loved the Hedo signing, some loved the Calderon signing. Now the 2 are the most hated people on the Raptors board. Its hard to appease Toronto fans and thats the end of it. BC IMO will never be right and never do right in the eyes of this board. No matter what someone will always have some criticism. The BC is god threads from last summer, turned to FIRE BC NOW IF HE DOES THIS. Just a quick change, how have i turned to that? I still think hes one of the best GMs in the league. I mean theres a reason why he has 2 GMs of the year and no one else other than his father have more.

Not saying I would like this trade to take place but its clearly not as bad as most of you are making it out to be. I'm not sure why but I assume most of you are either thinking we will get a star with a 13th pick or your just sick of euro players, both of which is pretty ridiculous if you ask me.

I doubt the trade will happen, i'm not a huge fan of it but its not overly lopsided in the Blazers favour and most likely the trade they are talking involved more than these pieces or could ballon into something bigger.

Defense. There is none of it. Ever... raps fans are sick of red carpet defense, regardless how fair or lopsided a trade maybe.
